if you can go on your bios and increase the memory share, 64mb is low, my grandparents pc is set to 256mb and you can play some games on it, and due to it having a high clock speed it beat my old rig in fps due to the single core performance

It should be able to run the game reasonably well on high, but I'd say that your CPUs are quite weak, and you might not be able to retain a stable 60 on heavily vegegtated maps.

64 gb is overkill, no matter what type of ram it is. It can easily run beam.

    Hello
just got beamng on my computer just built for gaming and the game is running slow and laggy. stays the same between highest and lowest settings.

    MSI 990 FXa
    AMD 9590 8core
    coarsair 4X8 32gb DDR3
and an MSI 480 8gb video card
    windows 7 pro 64bit

any clues as to what could be happening? from my understanding it should run flawlessly

It's likely your CPU bottlenecking the system. It doesn't have particularly good single threaded performance, and that's what you really need for BeamNG. One simple way to test this is show the FPS using Ctrl+F, remember what fps it's running at with physics running, then pause physics. If you have the same FPS with physics pause as with physics not paused, then you're CPU isn't bottlenecking the system. If your FPS increases when you pause physics, your CPU is bottlenecking the system.

Ok so I am having trouble getting the FPS to show up on my screen. (CTRL+F) I press and nothing happens. the points to drag the car around appear for a second then nothing.

I read that I need to have all the windows updates so my computer is doing that now. I just loaded windows 7 and tried to play.

The screen that shows your computer specs with the red, yellow exclamation mark and the green check. all of them have the green checkmark.

I also read that I have to add a profile with INVIDA for my videocard? I thought the video card is default because the MoBo does not have any video out ports?

i have a similar issue, only a bit more severe.

okay, i am NOT a computer programmer, so i don't know any numbers or terms to use about my problem, but my issue is that the game runs REALLY slow in the menus, and when recovering vehicles, but apart from that its a bit slow, but mostly fine. but more problematically, trying to even IN the game is a challenge. i can only play like 3 maps, and every other map crashes the game, HARDCORE. like, depending on the circumstances, it may just crash, or bluescreen, or, my favorite, COMPLETLY FREEZE MY COMPUTER TO THE POINT WHERE IT BYPASSES THE BLUESCREEN. its a VERY laggy game for me. what do i do?? please help :)

    PC specifications?
Also, BSOD usually indicates problems on the PC itself. You should check that your hardware and OS is working correctly probably.

well I never had much issues with that recently other than one time while playing another game (not BeamNG) my computer decided to freeze up and go to the blue screen shut down, one time it happened with BeamNG about 1 year ago, my PC has 8GB of RAM (with only 6.95 that can be used) 1TB of storage (HDD) AMD A8-7650K Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 3.30 GHZ - CPU and I have no idea what Graphics Card, but it is faulty. Also yes I know I bumped this thread, im sorry.

You didn't really bump it. It wasn't even 24 hours old. Yoshikart did that for us.
The A8 might be a factor in the low FPS, seeing as they're not that great for this game. It's the same for the AMD FX series of CPU.
As for the RAM, I never got that 'only X useable' bit. Whats that about?
