Game lags even though I get 100+ FPS

So, I just reinstalled the game twice and when I start the game, the lag is so bad, I can't even play it. When I check the FPS, it says I have 100+. Is there a reason why it's doing this?

 

Try and update your drivers maybe ?

 

This game is most smooth with vsync on and with current hardware it is best to keep monitor at 60Hz as CPUs can't quite keep up at higher fps.

Stuttering happens and badly when CPU computing power limits fps and that limit is usually by one thread, so your CPU load shows something silly like 50% or less.

Then if your actual game is smooth, but UI like tacho on screen is laggy, you might get improvement by enabling experimental hardware accelerated UI, however some setups are not doing that so well.
