@Beleolx Looks like you didn' read my last thread, and no, i don't own an xbox nor a copy os x$ game. Anyway, i will pay
Just so no one gets out of hand, t-dev himself said that they have not decided if this is to be free. They might make it to where it is free for non-commercial use but if you want to use it in your game it costs money like cry engine, who knows?
Even If the game costs $45. Its still money well spent. We have all tried other games and have been let down numerous times. And then we found RoR. I know it has nothing to do with beam NG. But alot of the devs being from RoR we all know how solid of a community it is. I Been a member since 2010. And have never seen an issue they have not tackled head on. So yes. Glady 45, 50. I Mean. We get better customer support at RoR then most multi million dollar games. And its FREE! not to mention unlimited vehicle upgrades in RoR?....Come on. You cant go wrong With BeamNG. You know if they make this a game there will be no such thing as a let down with a dev team this dedicated Keep it up guys. I know im quiet on the fourms....But im always keeping upto date from the shadows ;-) O.C.C - AKA: LBAW 8Ball
Really dude? Think of it like this: these guys have spent tons of time and money creating this game. They've gone big, yet people like you still expect it to be free? If you paid $10 to buy supplies for a lemonade stand and spent 3 hours preparing it, would you give the lemonade away for free? Of course not! Not only do they want to make their money back, they want to make some profit. So please, think before you post. Besides, after all the effort they put into this game, they deserve to make a profit. By the way, this game isn't just about running cars into walls. Based on that logic, isn't Call of Duty just shooting guns at people? Isn't Mario just jumping from platform to platform? Yet both of these games are making millions. - - - Updated - - - Who cares if you have to pay? Sure, it would be nice if it was free, but I think it's only fair that they make some money. Heck, for a game like this, I'd be more than happy to fork over $60. It's worth it.
hey guys, I came across BeamNG, through the Rigs of Rods website, which I first became aware of in the coverage in IGN. The physics demonstration in has received well deserved praise across the internet. I'm tremendously looking forward to the realistic soft body physics of Rigs and Rods combined with the amazing graphical fidelity of the Cryengine to play with. Since the graphics will be rendered with the Cryengine, will that mean that players will have full access to the Cryengine SDK and if so will the physics engine be fully integrated with it? The gameplay possibilities allowed with such a combination would be limitless.
BeamNG is making a game using their own physics, but they will most likely sell the program after the game is released. As for the "Will it cost money" debate, think of it like this: Would you give away something you devoted so much time in for free? RoR was unbelievably generous. I think it's time they made money for the amount of work they put into the game. I would guess $60 because that's what most games cost. It just depends though. It could be $10, it could be $100. We will just have to wait.
Yeah, what are you doing here? You'd probably do everyone, especially me, a favor by not posting ever again, please. BeamNG doesn't need the people they would "lose" by making it payware, they're free-loaders that just shouldn't be here in my opinion. This is a project that has been worked long and hard on. It's a project developed by only a few people, whereas GTA IV has been made by thousands of people. I'm assuming it's gonna be less expensive than GTA IV was on launch, even though, probably apart from the storyline, Beam NG is gonna be an infinite times better than GTA in pretty much every way. And that's coming from a hardcore GTA fanboy, that has pre-ordered every GTA after Vice City and will be pre-ordering GTA V too. Honestly, I'd buy this when it comes out without any hesitation if it would cost 70 euros, even if I'd be buying GTA V at the same time. I doubt it's gonna be that much seeing as the devs aren't very money-hungry it seems, but it would be worth every penny, even as a reasonably poor student. I'm thinking it's somewhere around 45 euros, even though I think it's well worth 60-70, and as I said, I would happily pay that just as well, but I'll just leave that to the devs to decide of course. Again though, we don't need people here that think they can get thinks for free like that, please... These devs are investing their time and even money in the project from the start, basically taking the risk that it's not gonna catch on, and you expect them to just... give it to you? Just no. And excuse me for my rudeness but this stuff really pisses me off.
i want to throw money at this game, why wont you let me!!!!! - - - Updated - - - whoops i should have said as long as i get a demo/beta in return.
About the cost of the game. I'll happily pay over 60 usd for this "game". Probably 100$ if I have to! I only hope to see this game on my screen not too long from now!
