Though I am really glad we have many votes for a minivan, especially an older one, like from 1996 onward. I essentially grew up in the back of my mother's 1996 Grand Caravan LE. She got it from her grandparents, who bought it new. It was slow, and may not have a good reputation for quality or reliability, but I loved it. A lot. It had over 140,000 miles when it threw its transmission. It had no rust, the interior needed some TLC, and a few dents which each had a backstory. The van itself was worth less than it costed to fix the trans, so it was scrapped. I seriously almost cried, and I'm 14 (and very mature compared to my peers, not to brag about myself ). We currently own a 2006 Chevy Uplander, a successor to @bob.blunderton 's Trans Sport, and a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. Touring trim, which is the middle trim, but the 4.0L V6 and almost every option. We got the Uplander before the Caravan died, and the T&C was a hastily found and much loved replacement for the Caravan. I am an odd person, and am sorta laughed at for loving minivans, but I have a lot of history with them.
