The covet and H series just kinda snag on each other and as they bounce around slowly damage each other. Not overly dramatic, you might even be able to do more damage ramming the H series with the covet (yeah you read that right), just highly annoying.

It is planned to be fixed, it just hasn't been yet. Their todo list must be a mile long by now.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been super busy and don't have internet as of now. I'm usually on my phone. But I'm still working little by little and have tried many times to get it in game and got half of it in? I'd why it took off the bed and wheels. Maybe textures. But soon guys. I'm trying. I didn't forget I promise.

I've been working on getting it in-game. I've been having some issues though and I kinda need help with getting it in. I can't figure out weather it should be seperate vehicle or parts. Either way I'm just not getting it right. To I have to export every part seperate? Or can I take the .DAE and folder it into a folder of its own to make it it's own folder? Please help me. I'm so stuck..

I've added a 2nd axle. Cycles rendered it ;) and worked here and there, put about 3 hours more into the undercarriage. Extended it a little.. Tell me what you think!

Pipes are my next goal :) First get it in game then boxes, pipes, and maybe(maybe) a second deck. Maybe.

Why wouldn't you have put it on the garvil d-series? It would look a lot more like a actual rollback. I have been in tow trucks since i was in a carseat. So i would take that into consideration. But it only needs to be a single axle.

Looks better with a double axle, plus if he wanted the van let the man have it.

Dunno about you but over here most tow trucks are built on truck and van chassis not pickups like the D-Series.

The reason is because I wanted it that way. If it's a problem, make your own. Tell me, have you ever seen a full sized rollback tow truck made out of a short cab S-10 or ranger? Nahh. This is America. We like tow trucks big and strong.

and dude, look at the original post. I've made a 1 AND a 2 axle truck.

I drive a tow truck. I live in Kentucky. We use Chevy 3500, Ford F350-F650, Dodge 3500, and those are not that big. They are all pickup truck chasis. I drive a '95 Ford F450 wrecker, a '03 F550 21'' century rollback, a '98 Freightliner FL40 wrecker, a '03 International 21'' Jerr-Dan rollback, and a 09 Freightliner Classic with a 5035 Century. I have drove many other tow trucks to. All I was saying is I have never seen one on a van chasis before. I love the idea though. But I personally think it would be better and more realistic with the Garvil D on it.

Whereas I was saying here in britain I have never seen one which doesnt use a van chassis and have never seen one using a pickup. Ford transit, mercedes sprinter, whatever this little thing below is, all you see on our roads tow truck wise.

I've seen the pickup styled ones on TV or internet only and always american. Although most of those larger pickups have chassis designs very similar to the vans anyway.

This truck shouldn't need a second axle. Only rollbacks that are usually tandems are ones with semi cabs, I have never seen a tandem rollback with a van chassis or a pickup chassis. It would look so much better with a pickup cab and a single axle. The truck just looks rather disproportionate. If your going to make it a van chassis make it a single axle atleast.

You know, I like it both ways. I have made a single AND a double axle.

If you don't like it then I'm sorry..

Hey man this looks really cool. i did have one idea though if you wanna listen. i noticed that the double sided wheel chocks on the tray are rounded in the middle but the sides have an edge. maybe put a ramp leading up into the chocks so you can just drive the car up onto the tray and drive the car into the wheel chocks witch would make loading/offloading allot easier for people who dont know how to use the world editor (like me) Just an idea. i'm loving this by the way. is it going to be a separate truck or go in with the D series?

Well for now, towing won't work like in ROR since the whole car-on-car collision thing.. Ya know? Probably not. But anyways, it right now is coming along. I have about 3 projects right now I'm bouncing around on. But the ramp thing will make it look goofy.. Also, a seperate truck. I'm figuring out the texture thing. Then Jbeam.

I'm from America and all ford, dodge, and chevy tow trucks are always pickup trucks with wrecker beds on a truck frame.

    Re: Gavril H- series rollback.

OK people like you are what made it so he has stopped updating the community. I personally don't care what he uses at the front. It a roll back, and he wanted to build and I say let him!!!!! Al they are on a custom frame because a pickup frame is waaaaay to small where the garvil h45 frame is around the right length. So you claim is really just that they use the cab of a pick truck, not the tiny frame, this in my opinion is fine. And I don't see you doing the pickup version so SHUT UP!!!
