okay well take off the body of the supervan and then give it the beans and you will see what I mean the rear tyres have a spaz attack they just will not stay stable...I think thats due to the merging of 2 vehicles so its kinda a bug although its not a bug...its confusing....
take the entire body off those rear wheels will basically throw themselves apart when your going more than 80mph....
I swear, if you mention this thing one more time you will get a warning for spamming... You've mentioned it in about 5 posts now, and I already said I had read it after the first time, and that I would look into it... Right now you're just boosting your postcount.
okay thanks for warning my mythbuster I wont try for a 6th time feel free to remove the other comments...I had an inkling I was spamming it...now I feel like a fool about it now..
So, besides the fact that I had a hideously low 0-60 for that run and have just wrecked, anyone notice something odd about this screenshot?
is that the trans from jdmclark's GTi covet? it works fairly well but is like 2x as slow as the normal one. pretty fun to watch it shift through the gears constantly though
Doesnt react well to letting off the accelerator, but H15 Supervan + JDM's covet GTI CVT = rather fun. Havent dont a top speed test but got sub 7 second 0-60 times with it. - - - Updated - - - 159mph and 0-60 in 6.08 seconds Not bad for a 1.8t van
Reducing the clutch time helps, but I don't think there will be a permanent solution unless BeamNG adds support for auto transmissions jumping several gears at once or full blown CVTs
Turns out that with a little practice, this is a pretty good drifter! P.S. That screenshot was taken at one of the tracks on the industrial map, one of my favorite maps to drift on.
This is so cool. Is the jaguar powered one a reference from Top Gear UK when they were agaist the Australian TopGear
As has already been mentioned, its not a reference to top gear UK, its a reference to the real ford transit supervan which is based on a jaguar platform and yes did appear in that particular top gear episode but was not created for that purpose. It was made a few years before that episode, they just happened to use it that one time.
I think the tagline to this van should be if it was to be sold... "Your standard White van....with more Poweeeeer!" what would be yours? but yeah I am finally taming the 390GTR engine and its just awesome!
