Not sure yet. We'll see how this one goes. That's simple in theory. Just takes a bit of time to modify the model and the files. Anyone can do it with a bit of patience to learn
Couldn't you just take the rims off and put different rims on. In the truck file. I saw someone do it with the sport rims on the van.
They look fine to me, he is using ZModeler 2 and as far as I know it has weird shading issues, It doesn't even do any of my scratch made models right it's just ZM2's viewport usually.
You know, have you ever seen the front of a 2012 f350 SD? Yeah. Then look at the front of a 2012 ford van. Pretty much identical. And if you don't like this mod being made out of the van, make your own. The pickup is too weak and basic to be a super duty. The van is the best choice. Good job on it so far. Keep it up.
The box van, or what us Brits would call a Luton Van wont cope with much more than a ton and a half. A Concrete Barrier which weighs about 1.9 Tons in this game will start bending the chassis. But thats because its concentrated in the middle. I'd say for a super duty, a payload of about 1.5 - 2 tons is about right
We can easily "reinforce" the chassis in the game and give it a bit more powerful engine... Like a real one.
Make sure though its not stupidly reinforced! i.e. a hefty crash should still twist it, and chucking 2 concrete barriers RIGHT in the middle by the cab should bend it as well
What you want to do is a great idea, and also the choice using the Van-Base for a Heavy Duty Truck is right. I'm looking forward to download your Mod.
I've been so interested in this from day one.. And now i hear nothing of it for like a week or more, any updates?
