WIP Beta released Gavril T-series addon v0.6.0

you'd see the author talking about the progress of the fixes he has done for now if you just scroll up a bit
it's taking time because he has more important things in life

 

Okay everyone, BeamNG-Fun (or somebody he talked to) have found a temporary fix.

The files that break the T-Series are actually the LUA files for the flatbed and dryvan-cargobox and their inputs. You will have to delete the two LUA files in the "lua" folder in the mod's semi folder. While yes, this will sadly take away that little playability with being able to open the doors and lower the ramps on the dryvan upfit and flatbed upfit respectively, it will stop breaking the T-Series. Please note that you have to delete the LUA FILES inside it, not the entire LUA FOLDER itself. After you have done this, you can go and drive the T-Series around with this mod enabled. This is a temporary fix for now until somebody (or AR162B himself) steps up to fix the broken parts of the mod. If anybody has trouble with this, please note that I can assist.

The 2 LUA files that are needed to be deleted are in /vehicles/semi/lua
And again, you need to delete the lua files that are inside the folder, not the folder itself. I tried deleting the folder and it kinda just broke more. I only wanted to write this message so everyone else on the forums can know how to temporarily fix this for now.

the last fix was from 0.24. theres probably no hope for this mod except if the author updates it himself.

 

It's not broken on my end, maybe my fixed version could help you with that. PM me if you want it.

log fix is available in beamng-chat of beamng-fun server but no fix for drvan payload so far

 

This mod was good, sucks to see it's broken and probably abandoned.

 

It isn't, the modder just barely has any time in his hands to do modding and fix how broken his mods are for now. If you watch the D-Series addon (from the same author) it's getting updates still, the author is working on it, but slowly. If he abandoned the T-Series addon right here, he would flair it as "outdated" or "unsupported." I have a fixed version I could give you if you want.

 

Agreed, plus we're most likely to get a refresh or a complete remaster from the the T-series for the 0.29 Update, I mean, who knows? Then after that a while, he'd start to work on this mod again with better/improved parts and refreshed wacky old looking addons

 

I still very much doubt that.

 

Guys, just because the developers didn't add opening doors ONLY to Gavril T-series doesn't mean that he will be 100% remastered in the next update! It's just speculation!

 

Never know, guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

 

The car lift is not working for me and won't go up and down. Anyone know how to fix it?

 

This mod is currently broken & there's no word yet on a fix from the author.
