I am excited to reveal a sneak peek for a new update for the T-Series Parts Addon!! I give you… A brand-new slot for a set of Marker Lights!!! After playing around with the vanilla T-Series taillights in Blender and in a custom Jbeam file I set up for myself, I decided to modify the slots and add it to one of my custom bumpers. In theory it could have its own designated slot for all the custom bumpers that exist in my mod.
To be honest, I might be the only person here to add bumper lights to the T-Series as a feature for a mod before anyone else.
It did in the form of Sidelights for the cab and sleeper, I meant the bumpers and stuff that didn’t receive a light configuration. --- Post updated --- Also, what do you guys think of a semi config looking like this?
I based it off of trucks that you would normally see at a truck show. Which have all these unique paint schemes, parts and attachments. I also added 5 more bumper light patterns.
Ok guys so the mod is on hold for the repository and I updated it a couple days prior, hopefully it gets reviewed and you guys could play it, if not then I’ll figure out the issue.
In the next update for my mod, I will possibly add more front-end attachments along with some modified trailers that utilize the same purpose as others. Stay tuned to find out!
How exactly do I import the rusty texture into the game, Along with giving it all the necessary attributes the main materials have in the game like the uv map and stuff?
Okay. So, if you made it from scratch in Blender, that’s okay, just follow what I said, copy a vanilla material from a main.materials.json file, put it into a material file (call it tseriespack.materials.json or something), rename it to “semi_frame_old” in the material’s first line, the “name” and the “mapTo”. And then change the filepaths of the textures to the ones from yours. --- Post updated --- lol I just had a realization that im talking on 2 different threads
