I can't wait for this to be released. the new t series is so good and all these mods for it are excellent
Thanks, glad you like them! --- Post updated --- - Fixed Jbeams - Added Standard and Wicked Drop Visors for Cabover - Added Oldstyle Mirrors for Cabover - Added Configuration “TC82 Custom Oldstyle”
- Fixed Drop Visor node weights to prevent them from twitching continuously - Added Owl-Brow and Bow-Tie Drop Visors for Cabover - Added Body Colored Variants for Cabover Drop Visors - Added Configuration “TC83 Long Haul Custom” aka “The Lightning Bolt”
Good question, I haven’t planned on adding a military trooper transporter upfit but since I have a military configuration in the W.I.P mod, I could give it a try.
really?? I saw smth, but I think I was wrong ahahah --- Post updated --- Damn, I saw it on another mod development!!! The drivetrain mod one
- Fixed Jbeams - Added 12 inch Slash Cut and Bullhorn Exhaust Stacks - Added Grip-All 22x10 41 ‘Graundeer’ Off-Road Tires - Refreshed configuration thumbnails - Cleaned out dae files for unused assets
I found this other mod that adds a set back axle cabover variant, its a bit rudimentary but I think its a good proof of concept that the cabover can become somewhat aerodynamic without drastically changing its appearance ^(the purple truck on the left) The mod is called Bella's cabover parts, and I don't think that any aero parts you make for this mod should be a direct copy of the other one, but a more of improved version. Just adding stuff that it doesn't have, like steps in front of the axle, different handrails to fit that setup, and aero versions of all cabs and conventionals (Bella's mod is only for the flat roof cabover sleeper). Oh, and LICENSE PLATES since both the mod and a lot of vanilla configs don't have license plates in the front, or sometimes at all and it kinda bothers me. On a slightly different note, it would be nice to see some of the parts, especially custom wheels, be made compatible with the EFC drivetrain mod that adds twin steers, drop axles and such. I forget the guy's whole name but he might also be able to help with set back axles since he seems to have experience on how to make different axle layouts. Hope some of this info helps
I’ve seen the mod, it’s pretty good, and I’d be interested to have my own project compatible with many others like the ones you mentioned. Trying to push out all the smaller parts and eventually getting towards the bigger parts being the wedgeback plus its own materials and Jbeam which I’m currently saving for the last part.
Take your time, I think the simpler aero parts like the set forward aero bumper you made below are a good starting point, along with other custom parts.
- Fixed More Jbeam Files - Added Large Aerodynamic Wind Deflector for Cabover Who needs an aero cab when you have this am I right? (They’re still cool)
For those wondering if it lines up with the dryvan, all I can say is that it does in fact line up with the upfit, just barely. Giving any Cabover box truck an aerodynamic appearance.
- Fixed Jbeams - Fixed Light Prop placement on Oldstyle Roof Lights - Added Aero Deflector Type B - Added Configuration “TC83 Sleeper Facelift”
I hope these fuel tanks will not conflict with the T-series expansion pack, as far as I know, GTG's T-series expansion pack also has fuel tanks of this shape
