I'm just nervous since this mod was so close to release. I hope the author is ok in his personal life but if he cancels the mod he should just give us the files so someone could try to fix it.
I feel like someone should try to call him by... how do you say it, username mentioning? Maybe he totally forgot he was working on something.
As some kind of modder (not BeamNG) I can say that it's nearly impossible to forget projects that you worked on. Especially projects as popular on public (because it's hard to forget about your communications with so much people) and as big as this mod. I can't imagine situation where you forget about your project after just half year. Also authors receive notifications when somebody writes in their threads, and i don't think that they often turn off those notifications. That's why you can somewhat often talk with mod creators or see their ratings on your message even if they stopped supporting the mod in thread more than 2 years ago. There are surely some other reasons, more serious. We just should wait and not annoy author with our attempts to get any information about a mod. I just hope that @Spagoot is alright.
he should be fine after looking at his profile he was last seen on April 3rd. we just have to wait it out, I guess.

The mod author will give us an update whenever he has an announcement to make whether that's the update of his whereabouts or the mod; I get its been months since the last time he has made a post but there's no need to be impatient, its not like he owe us anything at all. No offense but quit being chronically online, it's annoying we'd be getting notification from a thread that has nothing to do with the progress of the mod at all or any contribution. Touch some grass and find some new hobbies, and for the love of god don't try to contact the mod author if your only intention is for the mod and not for their well-being.
No offense, but it's not our fault that you have thread notifications on. I think that BeamNG forum should get a major overhaul, including filters for watched threads notifications. Also, I personally don't see anyone in this thread trying to find author just to get the release date. Everyone here that wrote about contacting author cared about his well-being more than a mod. It's just strange to disappear near completion of mod (which means that in normal conditions you will likely tell about mod soon enough.) and not even reply to people when they mention you on your own thread after months of silence from both author and audience. And also, from my experience, the last online update is not always a good way to get confirmation about if person is all right or not. Sometimes online status updates on different websites just work incorrectly. They may update when you just open your browser and it just loads all your opened tabs. The only thing you can tell by Last seen is that person (or his family) uses their devices.
I get your point but you missed mine. The recent posts has nothing to offer with the thread but the same questions "Any updates". Personally I think its better to not entertain any further post until someone actually got a useful information correlating with the author.
people still comment here and are mad? damn kinda sad, I noticed someone said "I can say that it's nearly impossible to forget projects that you worked on." for you maybe I do blender aircraft models and I leave a lot of models unfinished, the guy probably got lazy and forgot about it, he's making it for free why should he be forced to finish it? well whatever sorry for being another stupid notifcation for yall
