You don't have a badge, so you either didn't activate your account (you should) or you don't have the game

Or one cylinder 16 liter bucket-sized-cylinder-engine.

Now that pigeon is out, cannot wait to obliterate it with this. Does these older american trucks have liftable-axle?

there was a discussion on liftable axles here before with the general result being most of the american truckers on this forum not even believing such a thing exists

Well, they do everything much more simple way in America.

It is more for euro trucks thing.
Ant there is only one manufacturer who makes liftable axles with both axle drive.
I can´t understand why even Volvo can´t make it, patents are problem?
And that one manufacturer is Sisu.

Unless I've misread something, we all think there are no American trucks with lift/drop/tag axles? Yes there are. there are lots.

Very rarely will a drop axle be driven, sometimes they are steerable, but most commonly they are just load bearing.

The red International has two steerable drop axles.

The blue Pete has a load bearing drop axle.

The white daycab Pete has a single steerable drop axle.

and a driven drop axle is so uncommon I can't find a decent picture of one.

basicly they are just saying they are a rarity in the us, and they are. im sitting at a truck stop right now, probably 100-150 trucks here, yet I only saw 1 with a drop axle when I pulled in. I will say however that drop axles are fairly common in strait dump trucks, but that's about it.

I work near log trucks, being involved with the processing of the logs themselves, I see 100-220 trucks a day, and you'd have to wait quite a while before one without a drop axle came along. I think a lot of it has to do with their cargo and the terrain they haul it across, at least those are some major contributing factors.

The only euro style trucks that don't have drop axles usually seem to be the ones that only have 1 rear axle.

yea, a good portion of logging trucks have them. it seems like they are only used on equipment that's real heavy or spends time off road (for obvious reasons). im just going by what I normaly see on the road, dumptrucks have them, cement trucks have them, alot of logging trucks have them, most over size loads use them, and ive even seen them a few on trailers, but that's about it. they are used in the us for shure, but trucks with them arnt nearly as common as trucks without.
