Their icons disappeared from simple powertrain control but they can still be controlled from the powertrain visualization app which is kinda annoying.

It's interesting to me, that for the past 2 updates there was some positive stuff about the t-series, and now after the 3rd (and final) update, it's all just bug reports.

This is all due to global file cleanup and Vulkan optimization.

Well I would say I'm a little disappointed in the 3rd update
We got twinsteer and offroad tires but no way to make it a 6x6 or 8x8 drive train
Sure mods can add that but I'd love to not have to rely on mods for little things like this

    And apparently general disappointment.

Front drive axles are not very common on big rigs and usually they're only available on separate vocational models like the KW C500. So yes it might be disappointing but it is realistic. Honestly you can get pretty far with lockers walking beams and good tires anyways, in game and in real life.

It is uncommon on highway trucks yes
But it's still common on alot of heavy duty trucks since they often run offroad and can usually be added from the factory if it's asked for
And considering the T series can be setup as either a highway truck or heavy duty truck it's not far fetched to have a front drive axle

However I would call the C500 an extreme example since that's a completely different kind of truck than what the T-series is or even the kind of "heavy duty" trucks I'm referring to

Maybe it's a regional thing but I rarely see front drive axles on anything other than some of the medium duty 4x4 trucks. The only slightly more common 6x6s that I see are water trucks, but even those are rare. Yes the C500 can be in a class of it's own like this one:
    5363852a-a890-499a-924b-4705c5e0eefa.jpg
But you can also spec one out that isn't much different than a heavy spec T800 like this one:
    458502749_10227273994823815_1518532869857901645_n.jpg
The lightest spec W900l highway truck all the way to a C500 all share quite a bit including the cab so yes we could see a more extreme T-series. Personally there are other things I'd rather see first though and like I said before full lockers, good tires and walking beams will get you most of the places you need to go anyways.

There's already a mod for the T-Series equipped with the Western Star looks and Pacific
    https://www.beamng.com/threads/gavril-t-series-tractor-engine-gigapack.98439/

as for the other T-Series additional parts, there's a mod for that as well that you can download.
    https://www.beamng.com/threads/t-series-drivetrain-expansion.95904/

    and a WIP mod.

Expanding on this a bit, commercial trucks can be equiped in all sorts of ways from specialized companies. Petrol, agricultural, logging, and railroad industries among others often use heavily modified trucks. I would love to see this represented in game, with some of the more extreme T-Series configs under some conversion company. I've bought a few Western Star 4900's and Freightliner 114's from Brandt and similar companies that have had fully custom drivelines, axle configs, etc...

Some Hi-rail trucks would be insane! There could be for the T-series, MD-series, and even D-series and Roamer

Yeah, my Brandt R4 was fun to drive. All terrain super singles all around except for the tag axle that had dualies. The thing could do 40mph while dragging a 1/4 mile long string of rail no problem, wouldn't even feel four fully loaded freight gondolas. I use to race the revenue passenger trains when I knew none of the safety guys were around :)

I would love to get another one if I could get one with leaf springs, using a tie crane on a truck with airbags isn't exactly my favorite way to spend an evening.

Still tippy even with the bags dropped? 90% of the time I wish my dump truck had air ride but the rubber blocks are more confidence inspiring when you have to dump in a less than ideal spot.

It's not great. I'm just a PM that gets more hands on than the shop stewards appreciate but all of my actual operators thoroughly dislike airbags on tie crane trucks universally. Probably didn't help that the R4 was old and in rough shape when I bought it, ended up only keeping it for a few months before I traded it in for a more traditional rig.

I’m unsure if this is the right place to post this since it’s not really a compliant but suggestion/want but I’ll post it here anyways…

I think it would be AMAZING & easier to drive if they had the “short (side) mirror” from the cab over to the conventional cab… or maybe let us be able to move not just the mirror glass but the whole mirror itself (like in real life)…

side note: since they added the MD I’ve only been playing vanilla & am loving every second of it… devs have built an amazing simulation (cause if this is a not a game, this is way to advance to be called one)…

Also the center, rear, & rear rear locking differentials doesn’t have any switches in the “simple powertrain control” UI app (you have to use “powertrain visualization app to engage & disengage them)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're asking for, but I don't think short mirror arms on a narrow cab would be very useful. I doubt you'd be able to see around the stacks and/or sleeper.
