WIP Beta released Gavril Vendetta 0.8

Here's a question are you going to make custom skins for this and would you make this if you're going to do that?

 

That would be more fitting for the "Regulation Nation" Vendetta from 1974-1982 (Concept on previous page,) though it'd be interesting to have a proper flamed paintjob on this of some sort.

 

What game is that from? Graphics look pretty decent.

 

That's a Carmageddon mod, the Manta from Vigilante 8.

 

Well these last few days I've felt like crap, I may be getting a nasty cold
I have been working on getting logos in the game, and have started the process of experimenting with skins UV unwrapping, as for from now on out the last parts I want to add, can be done on the final model.
I also can confirm the following; body integrated fender flares are possible without wrecking shading, and once I have the skins UV layer, I will start making these extra parts.


I had to make a last minute decision not to do a hardtop convertible for now. Reason being that the way I had done the roof to cut down on excess parts, also resulted in severe spiking. Things are still kind of a mess, but they are doing better than they were.

Later on tonight I will post progress pictures.

Stupid Republicans... In all honesty this really sucks. All the time and hard work you've put into this project and it won't be finishable, not to mention that you (and many others like myself) won't be able to leisurely access the forums to download mods and other stuff. I truly feel bad for you and wish you the best of luck with this situation.

I love my country, though I'm not too fond of the corrupt people who is running it.

Hopefully a Christmas miracle from God happens, and we don't lose NN, and Ajit Pai either resigns or is booted off as chairman. I mean we've had several people appointed by President Trump to be given the boot: Spicer, Scaramucci, etc. Hopefully Pai will quit too, because we don't need someone like him as FCC Chairman. At least Tom Wheeler listened to the public and realized how important Net Neutrality is.

The side logo. I may change this out to be specific to a config, but I personally like it here; It adds something that the original Corvette didn't have on the sides; A name.



Here, if you look closely, I messed around with textures. I left a baking issue in place so you can easily see the differences in shading. Its hard to otherwise, it was a very minor change. I will be editing that out before release, so don't panic.




Rear and interior logo.



I also added in some texturing to the frame. The suspension components are also getting this treatment. Its a low res texture, but it does the job. The underside of the car will remain a flat shade of black due to the underside being fiberglass, with metal underneath it in this design. Metal floor pans didn't come till much later in the C3's lifespan.

Agreed. I mentioned them for the fact that they were both appointed by Trump, and that they quit.

Since I suck at actually designing skins, I just used the UV layout export as a demonstration.

Contact me if you want to make skins for this. You must have proof that you can create quality skins. I will only be accepting 3 or 4 skins, from one to 4 authors. All work submitted will be properly credited on the mods page release. The UV map is a bit messy, but is not distorted and should be usable.

He said that he wont be making a hard top convertible right away since he had issues with spiking or something im not a developer so i cant tell you the issue but point is it may be a little while. But i think he mentioned something about the police version cause its not too hard to add the siren bar from the gavril vehicles.
