Wonderful work, excellent to see new cars releasing for the game. I'll certainly see about getting some engine sounds samples recorded and sorted for this beauty .
Weird... I will investigate. Thank you! I will hopefully have a fix for hotfix #2 1; I prefer this over @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL 's way of doing fiberglass; Mesh breakage has the downside of looking a bit dirty, at the advantage of providing a more realistic way of handling deformation appearance. And not to mention, it also has a structural impact too (Beams break, structure weakens, etc.) Fiberglass simply doesn't deform the same way as metal, hence why I chose this route. 2; Hmm, I can see about rebalancing body part strengths for parts. 3; Fixed... Idk why it blew up into a major issue Though it's fixed in the current hotfix that's awaiting moderation. Hotfix #1 should be live next time the moderators review the mods. I'll be preparing hotfix#2 after the first hotfix is live. Thanks for the feedback guys. I say you should practice your throttle control and management a bit more A rev limiter isn't a realistic option for the stock engines. Maybe the 532, as a separate add-on part for the engine, but that'd be it.
haha ikr i should but i like to beat stuff in this game , and why rev limiter would be unrealistic for a stock engine? my friend got a cutlass 84 with a v8 engine in it, has a stock engine there no rev limiter but he buyed a rev limiter box aftermarket one and it work like a sharm and sound awesome! now he can beat it without over reving it soo think about it please!
I'll wait for hotfix #2 before I add anything. I don't want to confuse moderation here. If I get on my main PC before the moderators review the update, I'll make and post hotfix #2 over hotfix #1. I also need to add coupler support, which will be something I do in the second hotfix. Alright, I guess I'll consider it.
You can get the Base model quite warm... So warm that the orange light shows up Other than the off-set camera, I have one question... Why no hood cam?
The stock exhausts are quite wobble and you can see through them (no interior textures) if you look up the tailpipe. Still a darn good mod though.
1; Weird. @atv_123 was supposed to fix this, but I guess not. Hotfix #2 should have a patch for this 2; fixed in pending hotfix #1 3; Hood camera causes instabilities to do it where I want to. For now, just use Relative camera. It's what I use I plan on adding that in later on when I can keep things stable. 1; Thank you, I didn't notice that really, I will fix in hotfix #2. 2; Whoops! I will see what I can do to fix that one... I have a flat black material I use for some stuff, I'll see if I can't throw that up in there on a simple cap of sorts. Happy to hear you're enjoying it!
Also, when I rip off the whole front, it's still being attached to the car with some magical force & won't let go
Another thing... Why can the least powerful engine rev up to 7k RPM? The interior RPM meter goes up to 5k & so does the automatic transmission
In response to your response of my review: I definitely did enjoy this mod, but there were a couple of issues degrading the experience
I feel like that was unintentional to have that in there, but I quite like the look it gives the Vendetta
I’ll have @atv_123 work on it, I also questioned him on that too. I’ve got quite a bit to fix, so I should be busy. Let me discuss with you where I'm coming from on the mod; At first glance the car seems perfect, but you definitely released it too early. There's no actually glass cracking mesh, just the texture, so the glass doesn't look as nice when cracked. You can't even see the cracks from the interior. There is also some really nasty mesh breaking on the back, so it looks ugly and unrealistic when crashed. The frame textures are low quality as well, you can see the pixels from a decent distance away. The worst flaw is that the orbit camera is offset to the left by a ton, so it's so extremely annoying to drive (for me at least.) It's not all bad, though. There are a ton of configs, and the skins are cool and unique (cough Flippi 284). The Jbeam matches up well, and the crashes are nice and realistic, except for the back as mentioned above. I'm liking the car, but you should have left it in development for a while until releasing it. 1; Fine, I guess I'll add one for hotfix #2. Didn't realize it was going to ruin the mod for people. I'm somewhat upset by the fact that everything seems to have to visually match official vehicles in quality, but I guess that's just the community I'm making content for. 2; Oh well, Can't please everyone with mesh breakage in BeamNG. I agree, it's pretty shitty. Sorry I can't really fix this for you yet. I hope to find a better alternative (The front works a bit better with mesh breakage than the rear, though not quite,) though I've yet to come up with a feasible option. Let me get back to you on this later. I have a few ideas up my sleeve that are tickling my fancy, this may improve in later versions. 3; Sure, I guess I can raise the resolution of the frame textures. I thought they were OK, and had posted shots of it and no one thought anything of it, but I guess that's purely unacceptable on my part. I apologize for this. 4; Fixed for upcoming hotfix #1. I get it, offset's bad Thank you for your feedback; I sound a bit moody, yes, I am having a rough day and I am afraid it's coming across in my wording a bit; but I appreciate it Hahaha lol I thought I removed that. Those were the testing UVs, you can also see my poly flow on the mod with those. It ain't too great, but it's certainly better than the mess that it was on the Blue Collar. I may make a new set and leave them in and call it a Virtual Reality Vendetta skin Who knows, idk.
The engine package was making it able to rev to 7k RPM Set it to "Empty" & it was going just to 5k after that
