Started working on the second (crash bumper) facelift interior again, modeling the Vega style steering wheel and test fitting the door panels I made a few months back.
If you can't find it on google, it probably doesn't exist. Please refrain from asking for a specific mod that is completely unrelated to the thread.
Thanks Did some more work today, got the hood, wiper cover panel (If you were wondering where the wipers on the real C3s are, they're just hiding ,) doors, removable roof panels, seats, and front crash bumper in-game and JBeamed; Also brought over some of the facelift visuals like the alternative headlight designs visual testing.
That's what that color means? Ok... I guess I just learned something new about the debug modes Thanks I guess? Maybe that information was on the wiki and I just glazed over it. Typically I copy/paste the basic node and beam parameters from another one of my JBeams, and sometimes I end up copying a line or 2 with a funky parameter. Also haven't gotten to the collision triangles yet, can't remember if I left that particular parameter off on purpose or not. Oh well... Yeah I would've caught that eventually. Obviously self collision will be enabled before I release it
Color coding is not on the wiki and they seem to change some of it with every update. This color is since 0.21 as far as I remember. And also they change triangle colors all the time and I'm not sure what is the color coding for them now, it would be cool to have them standarized and documented.
Took a few screenshots yesterday and today; Even at this stage, unfinished and lacking proper body textures (Normal maps particularly,) it still looks decent imo Also made a custom 15x8 version of the Alder Rallye wheels, and added some custom 225/70R15s to go with them (Visible in the last screenshot, map is the hidden official Garage level btw.)
looks more robust --- Post updated --- i not gona lie, i gonna miss this --> https://www.beamng.com/resources/67-camaro-v8-sound-for-gavril-vendetta.3555/updates
Explain what you mean by "looks more robust" please? Also, why are you going to miss that sound mod? If you want to use it on virtually anything all you have to do is just create a custom engine and specify those sounds instead of the default ones. Literally only took me 5 minutes to port them to the current Vendetta
Did some more adjustments, particularly around the wheel wells and the rear quarter upper body lines;
