More progress; Popup headlights are now JBeamed and mechanically functional (Definitely far from perfect atm though,) door mirrors have been JBeamed, temporary light meshes have been removed to make way for the finished ones when they're ready, among other small things. Glass is still in its placeholder stage. The Classic interior components are also UVd and textured, though not showing it up close yet since many components are still WIP texture-wise and/or using their placeholder meshes in-game (Aka, it still looks quite ugly.) Currently in-game I have it set to red, though I want to make it customizable through the color selector later on. Additionally I moved the front valance and rear face design slots to the frame instead of being part of the body... Reason being that the face designs and the plastic crash bumper covers were conflicting and causing game breaking instabilities if selected together by accident.
1) It´s based on the C3. 2) The original author of the Gavril Vendetta is basically remaking the mod from the ground up, not somebody else.
Oh my bad i assumed someone was remastering it since everyone are remastering other peoples mods nowadays. This mod was also one of my first mods i ever downloaded! I wanna shoot myself for accidentally typing c2 instead of c3 XD. (c2 is my fav corvette ever since i was little!)
Pretty sure it was one of the first mods for many people, I personally was just browsing random mods and suddnely WOW A CORVETTE and I downloaded it instantly lol
this was back when i thought mods came from worldofmods but luckily i found out that repository was a thing and thats where i found this corvette mod! so nostalgic i remember the pizza livery, i was so sad to see that it was automatic since i didnt know how to change it back then haha
Add to the list... Glowmaps; WIP Collision Triangles; (Still need to tighten the gaps and whatnot along with finishing them up.) Also I've been working on tweaking the weight distribution... I think I'm close, the majority of the weight in these cars IRL is in the frame, engine plus drivetrain, suspension, and the body support substructure (Known as the "Birdcage".) Still need to shed 200kgs somewhere, though we're getting closer. Most likely it's gonna be taken from somewhere in the body, as for it's the only thing I don't have a good reference for atm. Rough range for the body was estimated by someone at around 500-800lbs, and I'm definitely on the higher side of that currently, so I have some room to spare.
Hi There! The C3 Corvette is for me the most beautiful sports car ever. Which led to actually owning a 69 model myself. So I'm really looking forward for this new completely reworked version. There are tons of info's and pictures all over the net. But if you need help with that, I could help finding the correct references. But it looks to me, that you're doing a good job! Looking forward to your interpretations.
