Gear/ slow mo not info not showing up

Hello. I'm new to Beamng and my prior RoR knowledge is useless here so I need some help. You know the text that shows up on the top left that shows your if your in slowmo and what x, and what kind of transmission your in? It's not showing up. It was but now its not. This seems like a silly question but for some reason it aggravates me. Please help.
I think I know why, but not sure.

 

Check to make sure you still have the messages app in your app editor. If not, add it again.
