He's obviously joking around. No one around here understand sarcasm?
My mom's cx-9 feels a lot slower than the Crown Vic around town, even though it's pretty much the same from 0-60. I crack that up to the transmission trying way too hard to be efficient, sometimes completely ignoring throttle inputs. If you're driving down a 2-lane road and you slow down for someone turning in front of you and get back on the gas it'll sometimes do absolutely nothing. Happens pretty much every time going uphill.
When I think about it, that's the only car we currently have that isn't a V8, out of 5. How American.

Who said Crown Vics had bad handling. Seeing as how Ive had both a marquis and Cvpi, the suspension on the Crown victoria is alot stiffer, and actually has quite stiff steering. They really are pretty good handling cars. The marquis was a bit of a boat, but the crown vic is more like my mothers 06 mustang in terms of handling.

i havent driven a crown victoria so maybe they arent as bad as they look on cops looking like they are about to roll durring a turn. the experience that made me respect hondas was ride in one. it was a 92 hatch back everything stock with maybe 100hp, expect he had full coilovers and good tires on the car. we never went over 90 and ive never been so scared in my life. when he took the off ramp at 85 i thought we were dead. now i have one. put fat tires on that vic fuck it.

You can have a lot of fun in a slow car or a car with ancient suspension. Some of my most fun driving moments have been with my truck, and it's not exactly cutting edge.

Say what you will about Holden but damn the passenger cell holds up fantastically in a crash.
    (Americans keep crashing them..)

My god! How hard do you have to hit something to rip the front end off of a modern car?

To Beam to test this out, away!

Even better if you can get to the point where you don't need the handbrake. The college I'm taking classes at has a new small parking lot, some distance from the main one, that's almost always empty. I went there a couple and went in circles, drifting its two hairpins at increasing speeds until I could easily hold a 20-30 mph inertia drift with no parking brake. Then I wore off enough snow to ruin it.

There's a corner in my neighborhood that's good for that too. The road is heavily crowned, so it tilts heavily toward the ditch before you actually reach the ditch. Come in just a bit too fast, then turn in tight to "dump" the car into that pseudo-ditch. Come out all crossed up and revving high. One time I did that, I ended up crabwalking straight down the road at about a 45-60 degree angle, but going pretty much straight.

better still is doing it on dry tarmac, get a bit of speed and even my focus estate will go sideways. A front wheel drive wagon. Sideways. It won't hold it for too long, either that or I'm just not that skilled but then I have limited practice opportunity.

rust I swear was supposed to be heavier than steel, then again, I suppose the rust does fall off either way.

I do love the focus. It's slow in a straight line. Handles surprisingly well for class but then its still no sports car. Take it to the limit on a winding backroad though, it will always put a smile on your face

I went across a 4 lane road sideways trying to turn left out of a gas station in the rain.
See a gap in traffic, punch it, car does nothing but sit there and spin, back off a little, gain some traction, give it a little more gas, wheel spin, rinse repeat. I got across the oncoming lanes and into my desired lane in a pretty normal fashion, but with the car sideways the entire time. Traffic was quickly approaching. I didn't have enough time to stop and try again. I don't think I ever went past half throttle in the first place.

Version 2 WRX. It gets about 11-12L/100km city and worse when it's being thrashed. Open roads about 9L/100. AWD must really sap power.

Hello. Does anyone know how to make car mods? All I know is that it takes a long time depending on the car. So If you do, Email me seanchaney063@gmail.com or reply on here even though i am more likely to look at my email. Also the car i was wondering if you could make was a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 long bed. like this one
    thank you.
