So lately over here the car tax and insurance rates went up, cars below the year 2008 are selling dirt cheap on the buy and sell sites because the tax on some of the cars is as much as €700 So what's the tax in your country?
Here the only expensive tax on a car are for Diesel cars sich are around 300 or 400 all other cars are under 100€ really expensive is the insurance but not on everything a solche Viper is cheaper to insure and the tax is a lot cheaper than a vw Golf wich i don't understand
Just a question what is a Good 4wd and lots of Power which doesnt cost too much but is new preferably a car wich is available in germany
4WD as in a truck? Or 4WD as in a car? Also, what do you mean by power, towing/utility power or speed power?
I can only imagine what was going through the Holden engineers minds when they decided to put the S10 dash in a fullsize. I imagine it went something like this, "You know that dash that they use in the LHD models? Yeah, they already have a RHD mold for it too!, Yeah lets not do that, lets get the dash from an S10, make our own RHD molds of it, and shove it in a fullsize truck!, so that way we can get rid of that pesky cupholder and cubby hole, and instead have an awesome big boring blank space on the dash! If we're lucky it won't even line up with the door panels! *cheering and clapping in the background" As opposed to the proper 96-00 GMT400 Dash.
I'm gonna say, if you want a fast AWD, well, it depends on whether you're worried about top speed (you live in Germany, so it's a valid consideration). If you're not, Lancer Evo. It's always been a little bit sharper than the equivalent Subaru, and UEL header flat fours sound awful unless the exhaust is done right. If you are, well, I have no further advice at this juncture. I'd have to know what your price range was, just to start.
Guys, AWD is on cars & SUVs 4WD is on all terrain vehicles You get it correct & it avoids unnecessary confusion.
I suspect international differences. The way I've always heard it (and what I was tought in school) is that AWD is when power can be directed where to go, and 4WD is permanent 50/50 distribution.
Yeah 4WD is 50/50, AWD can either be 50/50 or more dominant to front or rear wheels. Both can be turned off or are permanent depending on the vehicle
