Almost put my friends Focus into a curb because it has an offensive amount of understeer when loaded with 700lbs of people on wet roads. I didn't though. Cause of my mad skills. Or maybe luck.
You know it's starts to get cold when your gauge cluster has ice on it. Beautiful weather nevertheless
Tap brake with left foot. Those focuses I've found to be the best planted fwd car going but you can induce a little oversteer
This saved me yesterday as my car leaned over like a drunk pimp and ran scary wide towards some nice jagged rocks. My spring rates are supposedly 160f/80r. The importer has a low miles set of civic type r suspension he'll let go for 175 usd. 250 pounds an inch front and rear with a 1 inch drop. Anyone have an idea why I shouldn't? She handles like the Titanic with stock ex suspension.
I did my best to gently guide it in the right direction and it pretty much settled itself out. It wasn't really that dire of a situation. It started sliding at the very tail end of a relatively low speed 90° turn in a parking lot and I was at a pretty shallow angle to the curb. Wouldn't really have been more than a bump if I had hit it.
Not a big fan Fords, although some are okay such as the XB, 1964-70 mustangs and the GT40. For that car, $240,000 seems a bit excessive even if it is a factory original, all numbers matching car. For a Monaro or a Torana, seeing as they have a bit more recognised history (Bathurst mainly) I can see them going for that much but a not a plain XA Falcon. In other news, due to me getting my P's I now have the ability to drive to school and park in the student car park. Anyways, today I decided to park my car in a nice shady spot when I arrived in the morning thinking it would still be in the shade when i finished at 2:30. Of course this was not the case and i had to wait for my little excel to cool down after sitting in the 41 degree sun for more than 3 hours. It was a bitch driving home too, due to it being uphill and having to have the aircon on in order to not die. @HadACoolName Which state was it sold in?
the road salt where I live is worse. in winter it snow like in any other state, but they go so overboard with the salt, its a miracle to find cars 15 years or older.
That's the new Expedition right? I actually think it doesn't look all that bad, much better than the new Super Duties but maybe that's just me
I get the impression that every American car designer thinks that what makes a car look good is just slapping chrome and glitter over every inch they can get away with. Forget lines and shape and proportion, just make it ✨SHINY✨!!!1!!!!!111
Maybe it'll be like the new Super Duty that looks WAAAAAAY better IRL than it does in pictures. Or maybe not...
It looks like a modern knock off of a Freelander, just stretch the bonnet and window line up a bit higher, somewhere between the freelander and a ssangyoung
