My dad just told me we're getting a project car.

Hint: 302, LSD, Sleek... These are all things it doesn't have. It is, however, a RWD Ford. This should be fun.

Unfortunately, I'm not EricTheCarGuy... but the engine that's going in this will be similar to #DarkMatterPikachu. Going to try to stay under the 500HP limit a stock 302 block has to save a little bit of money.

I won't give too much info until we actually have the vehicle. But, another hint: SO 90s

    (No, it's not a Mustang)

You know, I just had a think. Despite what the Eurobeat people will tell you, there's actually some really good driving music in other genres, including Country & Western. So just think about this with me a sec.

You take a Chevy C10 from the early 1970s, old enough to be exempt from emissions regulations. Tune up the engine, lower & retune the suspension, put glasspacks or side dump straight pipes on it, but leave the outside ratty and full of rust and dirt. Maybe add some Confederate flag stickers and whatever. Take it to a decent mountain road that gets some good activity. Find a Subaru, Honda, or Miata driver who looks like he might be some kind of elitist. Blow him off the road. After the run, lean out the window with Joe Diffie or Hank Williams Jr. blaring and shout something like "That there thang sure make a lotta noise fer not goin' anyplace! Maybe y'oughta put a 350 in it!"

For anyone who was wondering where my gifs have come from. When Mitsubishi meant AWD and turbocharging.

Anyone on here know Japanese? I want someone to translate this.

Don't stop me now by Queen?

Funny thing is that I was listening to Eurobeat when I read your post.

Dude, my sig is an all-caps description of how to block raunchy avatars. Do you really think that song is going to be on any of playlists?

Being a car guy ruins TV for me, this scene in Supernatural:
Brand new Chevrolet Suburban gets grenade shot through its rear window

Grenade explodes & Suburban suddenly becomes a few generations older

Eh that one is a reasonably big screw up that a lot of people would see I think, like the orange lights and the fact its green in the second shot too lol.

I don't understand how a grown man has gone through his life without getting used to seeing or hearing "raunchy" things.
You either learn to block it out or get over it.

IMO blocking things that you don't like is a great way to get a very unrealistic view of the world. Its far better to learn to deal with things that you don't agree with than block or ban everything you don't like.

Of course I can understand that you may not want to see sexually explicit avatars, however unless you really know your stuff there hasn't been anything that I could single out.

Then again compared to most car forums this place is as clean as a whistle even if it is a little bit kinky :p
