Yeah they're pretty heavy, and I don't think much weight is coming off to make the Demon. I agree that a Z06 is a way better performance car but if I had the money I'd probably still buy a challenger because a) I doubt I will ever race the thing and for everyday driving it still corners pretty well b) I am in love with the looks of the Challengers and especially the Hellcat.

Multiple Skoda's and a big merican truck you've also claimed to own. I think we're beyond point of pics or it didn't happen

goedenavond we now get a new vw arteon
The international motor list begins with a 150 hp 1.5 TSI, a block with active cylinder deactivation that is linked to a six-speed manual or a DSG7 transmission. Higher on the petrol range is the 190 hp 2.0 TSI, which is always associated with the DSG gearbox. Top of the range is the 280 hp 2.0 TSI, which is also equipped with 4Motion drive alongside the DSG gearbox. Diesels can with a 150 hp 2.0 TDI and a 190 hp and a 240 hp version.

and you americans get the volkswagen atlas

On engine plane it's all very clear. Volkswagen spoon a 2.0-liter TSI in the Atlas that delivers 238 hp. Those who want more power can opt for the 280 hp 3.6-liter six-cylinder. Switching in both cases with an eight-speed automatic. Both front-wheel drive is available. In time, the Atlas must also find its way to Russia and the Middle East.

A few days ago my mom crashed her kia, which made the hood bend over the front in an akward shape. I'm glad to see new cars come with this hood feature as standard, as my moms kia is now facelifted and has a more modern design :)

I would love a 190 Diesel Arteon if 1. I didn't live in the states, and two, I was old enough to drive a car.

WHAT??? But they make almost all of their passenger cars! How could designing an entirely new lineup from scratch and retooling the whole company possibly be a financially sound idea?

    Also, that Arteon is gorgeous.

Well Vauxhaul /Opel will still exist as it's own brand. Only difference is that they will now be owned by Peugeot instead of GM.

As for the why Peugeot would buy them. The BBC are claiming that Peugeot want to get back into the US market, Opel are a German brand and therefore more likely to sell than French cars in the US. Equally it will make Peugeot the second largest car maker in Europe overtaking Renault.

GM has role in Russian market too, Lada has had lot of GM parts for a long time and SUV they made few years back was engineered quite a lot by GM people if I remember correctly, not sure if that has anything to do with Peugeot deal, but I don't think that french cars sell too well in Russia, I see mostly German and Japanese cars in crash videos, of course some Russian cars and little other too, but lot of Russians seem to like German cars, like Porsche, Mercedes and Audi.

Opel's used to be fairly common in the US, They were sold through Buick dealers in 60's and 70's, Kadetts and GTs used to be a common sight around here.

(Here being the St. Louis area)

Yeah, I'm actually kind of happy about that, but I was more wondering why GM would sell them, not why Peugeot would buy them. From what I could tell, owning Opel was the only thing keeping them afloat.

Trump wants to punish companies that do things outside USA that they could do in USA, they fear high taxes will sunk them so they think government will bail them out if they don't have Opel and they can make announcements of being good American company that does the right thing?

Huh, interesting. If they weren't making GM money, at least they were starting to make half decent cars for them. If my past experience (a Pontiac Montana, Pontiac Grand Am, Chevy Silverado, and an Oldsmobile Alero) has anything to say, GM's other divisions can't build cars for shit. I mean, almost everything they make comes from Opel, and most of the the brands that weren't (other than Saturn) have been discontinued due to low sales. What are they going to do, bring Pontiac back?

Opel isnt any better than rest of GM. I've posted my corsa horror stories enough, and the insignia horror story, and the meriva horror story, and the other meriva horror story and the astra horror story.

Opel. Dont touch with a barge pole.
