It's possible to have fun in a car without being a murderous retard. It isn't black and white.

Yea, but murderous retard is even more fun.

I've always been fond of the street racing culture for some reason. There's immense fun in the danger. It's a big F-U to the authorities.

I'd do stuff like the Gumball 3000 in a heartbeat. It's supposed to be a charity rally, but descends into one big point-to-point coast-to-coast race.

I like where your heads at. People say "it's a rally not a race". Its both. I'm down for smaller state wide versions. Going fast on the street is unique. Everyone has their vices.

You absolute maniacs need to be locked up for life. Speeding? Street racing? Think of the children.

I just get really tired of the widely accepted generalization that you're either a safe, straight laced driver or a murderous retard, there is no in-between.

Today we learned the most astonishing thing, unbelievably, duct tape is not capable of holding 60+ lbs of boost on it's way from a compound turbo set up to the intercooler.

    Who knew?

Honestly it was a side of the road thing, I was driving along and found my friend and his 24 Valve sitting on the side of the road. I pulled up and learned that he was on his way to go fishing, when one of the intercooler boots ripped apart.

Also, his old boost gauge died, and he replaced it with one that I think, he pulled from the wreck of the Bismarck.
Or maybe the HMS Hood, either way, It's made of brass and looks like it was the height of technology in 1936.

1985 Holden VK Commodore using the arse end of a Holden Rodeo (Isuzu Dmax) as a trailer.

I love how similar the automotive ideals are between Australia and the States.

Shame it's gone now. You guys made the last RWD V8 that had any personality what-so-ever.

There are still a lot of RWD V8's with plenty of personality

Saw quite a few off-road config vehicles in Iceland, which were quite surreal combined with the European vehicles that you get there.

    Holy fender flares Batman!

That first Excursion intrigues me, because Ford stopped making them in 05, but it's got the 10-16 front clip on it, which in itself isn't that hard of a thing to do, However it also looks like it's got the newer interior as well. which isn't so easy.

It also seems that the Icelandic folk like the MT Baja Claws, which I approve of.

I still want to find an Excursion.
