Might pickup a 1999-2004 F-250/F-350/E-150/E-250/E-350 Throttle Body for the Grand Marq. Only $50 so why not? Apparently a direct swap to. 10-20 mins.

Yup. It's wider. It's a pretty cheap upgrade that is supposed to improve throttle response. Maybe even some more power at the top end. I imagine with my Police intake it'll be a nice little upgrade.

A radio I think I might choose is the JVC KW-R910BT.
It does more than what I need, and looks good too. Only thing is I think I'd need someone else to install it as I'd have to remove part of my AC paneling to get to my current radio and remove a storage compartment, along with arranging wires and paneling to replace the odd shaped current one.
I also don't know if I have the 4 or 6 speaker accord (though I think it is 4), and I have no way to tell for sure. I could just be stupid and not be seeing 2 speakers.

Try to do it yourself. You'll save money and learn something.
You always have the internet to help you through it.

Hory shet, it takes double din? Cool.

Hondas generally only have four speakers; in the front doorcards, and in either the rear doorcards or the parcel shelf. Both places if it's a six speaker setup like the Honda Legend. Your mileage may vary, since I haven't played with Hondas newer than 2005. Pulling apart an interior is a laugh and a half, usually. Just don't use metal tools to pry, and pull on the trim as close to the clips as possible.

OK, this is aimed at people in the UK. This would be possible in most of the world but the UK is different.

My dad has a 1967 Triumph Vitesse 2 litre. It has 6 cylinders and I've always wanted it as a first car, he thought about buying me a Triumph Spitfire, Herald or an old (style) Mini. I always thought the Herald just looked a bit sad, the Spitfire was just a Herald trying to be a Stag and the Mini is just too mainstream. The Vitesse however I have never seen anyone (of my era) have one for a first car. Would this be possible in the days where you have people who crash-for-cash and boy racers who think they're Dom Torreto and do stupid shit and crash their 1.2 Corsa C into a ditch? I don't want to spend more than 2k on insurance, that's my max otherwise I will just get a Spitfire 1300 or something like that.

    Cheers!

All of the above you will have major problems insuring.

As a classic vehicle, mainstream insurers will inflate cost quite a bit, you will not get them for 2k.
Go to a classic car specialist insurer, they simply wont insure someone with less than 2 years of proven insurance (preferably no claims) and under 21.

Get a SORN notice on the Vitesse (or let dad keep it), get something else, switch to it later.
And grab a dashcam for the crash for cash schemes which really arent all that common (think I've encountered 2 so far and managed to avoid both).

Or just hit up compare the market under fake details (as otherwise it influences your credit rating believe it or not), claim you have a full license on it etc etc and just get a quote on the vitesse.

See, you talk about classic car insurance being expensive under mainstream insurers, which is true. I wasn't planning that anyway.

The reason I am hopeful about it is because my sister (she is 18 and has been driving for 6 months) had her first, and current car, as an MG B Roadster (factory auto). Now yes, she is a girl and the MG is auto and only a 1.8 BUT, it cost her £950 to insure when she had no driving experience. That is good by anyone's standards.

The dashcam thing we did have fitted to her car because my dad had 3 accidents, none of which being his fault. 1st happened in Somerset, a van did a hit and run, only taking our door mirror's paint off a bit, still being investigated. The second crash a drunk driver in a Shogun came round a sharp corner at about 40mph, realized he couldn't take it at that speed and ended up in the front end of a Citroen C1, behind of which was our Honda CRV. 3rd, and worst because of the car the person damaged, was my dad was out of the car, apparently according to an eye witness, a white van scraped his back wing on the back end of our '77 Triumph Stag and just fucked off. He couldn't get the number plate and by the time we tried to catch him he was gone. All of that happened in the space of 2 and a half months. So now my dad has fitted a dashcam to the CRV and my sister's MG.

Anyway, sad story about scumbags later, I am still hopeful considering what my sister got as a first car. I would take the MG but I want a manual as a first car and the Vitesse is just, there.

I think a Vitesse wouldn't be too expensive, but I'm not really sure, I'm 18, just passed my test and have an MGB GT, insurance costs £1300 from Flux Direct. As SixSixSevenSeven said, you will need to phone the specialist insurance companies and ask for quotes, also make sure that you are the main driver and not just a named driver, I found this reduced my insurance from £2000 down to £1300. When I was looking for a first car I did look into Spitfires but found that they were much more expensive to insure.

I think the extra cylinders, displacement and power might be a problem though. Your MG, it is 4 cylinder, 1.8 and has 70BHP, I assume when it was new. The Vitesse has 6 cylinders, is 2 liters and had a whole 95BHP when it was new. I'm really not sure what to do here. Because, we bought the Vitesse off one of my dad's friends for £700. It was rusted AF but the underside was in pretty good condition. It has been like that for 7 years. I know if I/we sell it, I wouldn't get enough for a Spit or Mini or Herald in any sort of decent condition. Oh well, I still have a little while to wait. I'll see how it all plays out, even if I have to drive a Corsa as a first car and have the Vitesse as second.

Fair enough, have you looked into any other classics?
I did look at other cars, the Spitfire with an MX5 engine I found would have cost about the same as the MG. If you are wanting something different look into an MX5 or a BMW Z3, I found insurance on those to be sub £1500.
Also my car did have 95BHP new but I had it on a rolling road a few months ago and found it had 70BHP now..
Don't let the rust fool you! I had a rust bucket as my first car, would have had to spend £10,000 to get it on the road.

I saw a white E34 BMW 525i Touring last night.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe they were ever brought to the U.S. I wonder how much it was for him to import it, I really liked it.
