They should make some sort of Ralliart variant (tuned suspension, engine tuning, the works) and make it a two door hatchback (as we need more of those!)
Mirages aren't super popular, but they're a fairly common sight in western Canada. I haven't seen many anywhere else. That said, I think it's getting beaten out by the Nissan Micra, which is its only direct competition here. If the Mirage is as bad as people say, I can see why it isn't selling in places with more competition like the VW up! and Renault Twingo.
There's one thing about driving around less than safe/rather seedy neighborhoods, well atleast around where I live, is that you'd find someone driving a really uncommon, and maybe even somewhat rare cars, though most of the times they're not in the best sort of condition. Spotted one of these earlier today while driving around, which I've honestly haven't seen since, maybe a good 4-5 years.
When Korean cars first entered the American market they weren't very reliable and didn't have greatest interiors compared to their competition tbh. That doesn't mean they are/were bad cars, (in fact I like the designs of some of them) but they just competed with cars that were more prestigious and refined.
It's kind of funny how different the 4.6L sounds in the Thunderbird compared to the Panther 4.6. Much more 80s sounding to. Must be the intake and exhaust manifolds. Even stock this car has a little burble to it. Has that high RPM fan sound to it. I would do a 0-60 but, it just blows the tires off. I need to find something a little wider that fits the 15" fan blades. Almost sounds like 3000rpm VTEC. I wonder how it would sound with a CAI. It's a bit high mileage to mod it though. Somewhere north of 160k I'd imagine.
Welp, finished about a 1,700 road trip over 3 days in the Mustang. Oh boy, did it go wrong... There's some odd whistling coming from the front-left suspension, the clutch is ticking, my subwoofer left the party about halfway through Pennsylvania, it's running kinda rough (when I can get it to run at all), I think there's a problem with the alternator becasue I don't think it's sufficiently charging the battery. It'll run the car (I know this becasue that's how I lost my sub, the battery is fucked), but not much else. It needs a battery... I feel like I said that already. Uhh, oh, how could I forget? When I had to jump it, I fried my gas guage and RPM guage. But it made it home.
I literally texted my dad that as he works for the company (and may or may not know about it)... But he can't say anything so don't ask...
Fiat Coupe is quite fun in the night, electrics are a disaster, here is a list of broken stuff... Right indicator Stereo (loose connection) Misaligned backlights (one points through the floor heating vents!) Interior Light Things I haven't tried .
Looking at the past few Corvette designs, it's likely going to be flat. The profile looks like a 458 from some angles, but I doubt it will up close.
