My mom used to own a Fiat 500 which, despite typically Italian build quality in some areas, was actually a thoroughly enjoyable little car. For this reason, I feel obligated to point out that Fiat had no part in the the Dodge Journey, it being wholly a product of the bankruptcy-era Chrysler that also brought us gems like the Avenger and Nitro. I agree that FCA cars typically aren't the best, but still a vast improvement over the turds Chrysler was dropping in 2008. Coincidentally, the family also owned a Dodge Journey at the same time, which I can attest was utter shite in every conceivable way.
I have to admit the modern 500 is a nice as car, they did the retro styling right unlike some companies (VW).
Did you know the Lexus LFA (You know that 4.8L V10 super car that makes 550 HP) makes 11 city / 16 highway MPG or 4.6 city / 6.8 and that's really low I mean Hummer H2 low. But I said flip phone, one of these I would imagine 9/10 of those crashes where from Smart Phones
When I had an iPhone 4S I could accurately type without looking at my phone. I texted a lot more back then than I do now though. I still can on the larger iPhones but not as well. Either way, distracted driving is a stupid idea, just get a secretary or something.
Doug got his hands on a Model 3. Probably safe to say it's the most in-depth and unbiased video we're going to get. Overall, it's pretty much what I expected. There are some little things I think I would have done differently, but there are no glaring faults I can see that would stop me owning one.
Have you actually been in one? I spent a few minutes playing around inside a Model S and it was totally fine, and Doug said in the video that interior fitment and quality in the Model 3 felt on par with the equivalent BMW or Mercedes. I really hope we see the wagon in North America. There hasn't been a wagon available here in that class/price range for 10 years. EDIT: Forgot about the Golf SportWagen, but still.
No but considering they are all over the news because of bad build quality in the Model S, a really quite expensive car, I shudder to imagine what a "budget" alternative would be like. Its luck of the draw but that's the way with most badly built vehicles. The early models always seem to be of better quality too, it wasn't until they started having financial troubles that they started to get worse.
Wow! no Focus wagon in Canada :O Focus Saloon/sedan not available in UK! I'm hope we see next gen Focus saloon available in UK. D:
It seems so random to me. If you're gonna make a world car, make a world car. It's not like England and Canada are in different solar systems. I know the 4-door sedan and wagon markets are super niche and all, but I'm sure you can manage it without worrying about the bottom line too much.
That's an old GIF that I've seen loads of times in Initial D meme compilations, but it still is hilarious to watch over and over again.
