Knowing what people are like here, someone will probably find a way. Lets be honest though, they'll all be graffitied on within the first 5 minutes
A diesel is not going to be cheap, but if you can find a well taken care of 5.9 Cummins or 7.3 Powerstroke (that you can afford) either would be a sweet truck. What are looking for in vehicle exactly, what would you do with it most of the time?
I'm looking for sports cars, something zippy. Like a 2001 GT Mustang or something like that, gas mileage with trucks will drive you into a wall. So trucks are not the best for a first car/truck.
Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry etc etc etc All can be had in somewhat fun variants, all will likely give you ok fuel economy.
Friend of mine has a late 90s early 00s Camry with a manual. It's fair fun. I imagine they would be the movable kind that slots into the ground and is then locked in. Those are an item to be taken where I am, not sure that would be the same with the strange kid bollards though
Oh 1994-96 C4 Corvette than they are cheap as fuck and go get about 24-27 MPG with 300 horses without a twin turbo so imagine how fast it would be if you put a turbo in it.
C4 Corvettes looking good, but MPG Not the best in the world, and adding a twin turbo would make MPG Worse
The car you are looking for does not exist. You cannot get C4 performance with good fuel economy in a cheap car. You can only get a compromise of the two.
I think you where looking at the ones from the 80's I'm talking about the 1993-96 models 1993 17 city / 25 highway MPG 1994 17 city / 27 highway MPG 1995 17 city / 27 highway MPG 1996 17 city / 25 highway MPG
https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/10621.shtml https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c4-general-discussion/2856577-1994-corvette-mpg.html The only time that car will get 27mpg is when you are pushing it by hand towards the next petrol station.
It depends on how good you are at parking, and how much your budget is. The killer is insurance costs, especially in a medium size city and larger. Subarus are good, they are AWD, can come with a manual, and if you get a wagon, you can haul around stuff and have slightly cheaper expensive insurance EDIT: They are pretty fun to drive, and aren't slow. Not too bad gas mileage either.
One don't trust any forums and two I used google plus the Corvette isn't the highest MPG for a sports car from the 90's you can get pretty now I have another card in my sleeve called the 1997 V6 Auto Camaro which gets 19 / 30 highway MPG so age it up and it might get 15 city / 24 highway MPG today
My Budget it tight. Forgot about insurance. But i am looking for older Mustangs and corvettes, while researching some stuff (thanks people) i realized those 2 are not the best option. So I've been looking into Subarus, and some newer muscle cars that Gas Mileage is a bit lower on them
