ECU remap. Don't get one of these boxes off Ebay - get a real remap from an actual tuning shop. Just tell them that you won't be upgrading the internals, so they shouldn't give you that much power. Performance synthetic oil. It will reduce the friction inside the motor, increasing the HP. Aftermarket exhaust headers.
Unfortunately, that seems to be what the world is turning into now. If something is even slightly dangerous, then it's too dangerous
300 bucks? Frankly most of the suggestions I've seen suck. Performance oil doesn't do anything at all besides break down slower. Headers? Won't get alot more out of that motor and will cost over 300 bucks. Tires? 300 bucks of tires would be budget crap. One not suggested, intake, actually will reduce low end power and not really get you anything in high end. Midpipe and back box on that motor won't do anything at all. Car modding is expensive. I'd keep the 300 bucks and wait until you can afford some proper decent quality tires, discs and pads. --- Post updated --- Or if you really do want power, 300 bucks may well get you an ECU remap, it may be possible to lower your VTEC engagement assuming it's VTEC.
This is tempting. There are some red flags in the ad, but it's at least worth looking at if it's still available next time I'm in Vancouver. The mileage is pretty much par for the course for a diesel VW. I've seen ones 15 years newer with close to 300,000km. There's also this for sale right in my town, but it's too much money. It's also listed as the wrong model (obviously) but seeing as all the photos are also out of focus, I'm going to assume the owner just isn't very tech-savvy.
Thats a Subaru Sambar, right? I like those but JDM cars are expensive, and and those aren't very safe especially in a city where nobody can drive like the one I live in.
Also they aren't fuel efficient at all, like a brand new big ass, "fuck you mother nature" SUV is probably is making more than that tiny ass, "I can't afford a full tank of gas" car.
Meh, they're pretty cheap here. Maintenance is a little more difficult, but not really significantly more expensive. Lots of people buy them specifically because of the relatively low cost and good fuel efficiency for an all-wheel drive vehicle (regardless of what certain self-proclaimed white trash pre-teens from upstate New York will claim). Plus, a little 4x4 is really useful around here. As for safety, I'd personally prefer driving in the city. If you're going to crash one of those, better hope it's below 50km/h
I just saw a old red VW Beetle I'm counting that as a rare car because any car from the 70's in upstate New York while be rusted to shit
Do you live in Texas thru Florida, or any state above 35th parallel north ? If you answer yes for the first one than it might be because of hurricanes. You you said yes for the ladder than it's because of rust. If you didn't answer yes or no for both of them, than I don't fucking know. Update on I just miss read it, I thought it said "Why is more and more of people are moving out of my city this year" I'm just a idiot Anyways. There is a 1974 Datsun 260Z for sale in Cortland New York https://ithaca.craigslist.org/cto/d/1974-datsun-260z-bo/6404567972.html
Seems like Jeep wants to infuse a bit of the TJ design into the 2018 JL Wrangler's front and the Renegade for the rear (the taillights is what does it). While the horrendous looking interior is giving me multiple vibes from Mini Coopers, modern Fiats and the PT Cruiser. Supposedly it's going to have a large range of engines including a turbocharged Inline-4 and a diesel V6 for the Americas along with full-time 4WD and powered roofs (both hard and soft top). The official unveil for the Wrangler JL/JLU is tomorrow.
