Say Hi to the new Cupra Ibiza (not a SEAT this time around). The front looks, different, to put it in one way.

The logo reminds me of Pontiac, surprisingly.

Cupra as a separate brand makes even less sense than Polestar.

So... First we had brands turning into sub-brands (Maybach) for no reason. Then we had sub-brands becoming separate brands (DS, Polestar) without a reasonable product line to justify it.

And now this. Sub-brands with almost zero visibility becoming full-fledged brands to rebadge boring photocopier cars.

    Well done VAG.

Now that I have a generation-2 Ford Escort, it's really starting to dawn on me how much someone needs to make an accurate and complete BeamNG mod of one. It's not even all that good stock, but when you think about it, the list of "unusual" (and potentially very quick) combinations you could make by raiding the Mazda and Ford-that's-actually-a-Mazda transverse-mount engine lineups for swaps is a very long one and contains everything from a dinky 1.6 liter that still makes more stock horsepower than the British Ford 1.9 liter, to the Probe/MX-6 V6, to possible Duratec engines, and maybe even that weird 2.3 liter supercharged V6 that they only ever used in one car as far as I know (dear Mazda, stuff like that is why we all love you.) Some of these swaps could also allow AWD conversion. Really, if someone made an actually decent Escort mod with a healthy list of engine swaps and tuning stages, they could easily end up with more custom configs than most official cars have configs period, especially once off-road and sanctioned racing variants get thrown into the mix. Throw the 1991-1996 Ford Escort in with the 1984-1993 Dodge Daytona and 1984-1988 Pontiac Fiero on the list of cars whose customization potential absolutely should earn them high-quality mods at some point.

Other candidates that I don't feel like elaborating so much on include the 2006-2010 Pontiac Solstice (interesting Miata alternative with potential to fit any Toyota longitudinal-mount engine - though likely not legally - thanks to a shared engine mounting setup that not many people know about), 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee along with its truck variant the 1985-1992 Comanche (can't think of many vehicles with so much potential to be just about anything - though it's not likely to ever be a cornering monster except among trucks unless some intensive suspension work is done - also it used AMC, Chrysler, General Motors, Renault, and VM Motori engines at various times along with Chrysler, Aisin, New Venture Gear, Peugeot, and Borg-Warner gearboxes, so it should be interesting to see what kind of swaps would work in it), 1998-2001 Chevrolet Metro (laugh all you want but autocrossers have long seen this car as a hidden gem for its ability to turn on a dime, and there's also the possibility of engine swaps to make it somewhat viable on power courses as well), 1990-1995 Dodge Spirit (rare high-performance version could out-drag the contemporary BMW M5, though I wouldn't count on the Daytona's Mopar-sourced RWD conversion kit working particularly well here as this is built on a stretched K platform while the Daytona actually had a shortened wheelbase), 1997-2001 Cadillac Catera (crouching mistake, hidden LS/T56-swappable sleeper), and 2000-2003 Acura CL (interesting not-so-little tuner car that almost no one ever paid attention to, but it looks nice with some light rice, is said to be quite a goer, and has some interesting theoretical possibilities of parts cross-contamination with the NSX).

Yeah, most people won't know what's going on and the rest of us won't understand why it exists.

VAG seems to have money to blow at the moment.

Still looks drunk-mad, even without ST-styling

Looks great for an GT2 RS-inspired GT3 RS.

About an great relief, reminds me of the Partner.

Weirdly, I find the design ridiculously funny, especially the front.

My opinion of these cars is:
    Ford: Widemouthed SUV
    Porsche: Well, a Porsche
Peugeot: Funny looking box on wheels
Ferrari: No words can describe it

The new 508 looks hot as hell for a Peugeot, I really like the signature taillights with the black bar going across the rear.

I have actually developed a concept of an Escort-based car for BeamNG going by the name 'Gavril Hesperis'. It was originally intended for Vehicle Suggestions thread, but I realised that devs don't even look into it, I changed my mind.
The car was going to be a mixture of these two:

I might publish my drawings and specifications if somebody is interested.

I'm thinking of buying a Early 1990's Pontiac Grand Prix in black for a first car do you think that's a good idea?
It kinda looks like a Chevy Impala I don't know maybe it's just me.

I don't know why I find it creepy, but I do.
Also, is it just me, or do I like this to exist?

The Poncho GP is quite a cheap-to-run car, but an older GM 3800/Chevy Cavalier/Honda Accord seems like a better choice.

One problem with the last two, I live in Upstate New York, this state use road salt during the winter, and those two normally rust like a mother fucker, and I'm not buying a new car from Dealer, cost too much.
