It's an old British car, nothing special back then, nothing special now. At least the design aged well, because it's simple.
Why? Personally I think it's a big step up from the last one. I know the stick throw is a little long, but I like it.
It looks big, wide and heavy, especially in the front. Many people criticize FF cars for being nose-heavy and its design emphasizes this trait.
did some reading and found out the 2.2 turbo I found in lebarons and daytonas made around the same horsepower than the 305 camaro that lebaron has the turbo I rated at 146 hp and 160 ftlb whereas the 305 made 150 and around 200 ftlb take the engine, trans, and suspension out and put them on a tube frame
Doubt anyone who buys a denali of that spec will do anything other than roll around town in it to be honest. Its basically just a tailgate in a tailgate, but its a neat gimmick i guess.
A lot of people use new and old trucks for actual useful purposes in my town. But I guess it depends on where you live.
All I mean is that most people who use them for work or anything like that would sooner buy a pretty much identical and cheaper Silverado than the luxury model Denali.
Thank you GMC for ruining the Sierra, goddamn it! I'm the same person who wants an 2017 MDX, so I'd be okay with something that's expensive, but has a couple of pros when owning the car. --- Post updated --- Not surprising, since they were one of the brands involved in the original Mini. --- Post updated --- I never heard of this car, but the cars in this company's line-up is interesting and a bit unique. This is somehow my favorite.
Why do station wagon fans end up being hipsters half the time? "If you've never owned a wagon, then you don't understand the culture." How about no, if there is any specific "culture" associated with wagons I don't give a rip, I just think crossovers and chopped-off hatchbacks are cancer.
Taking my car to a test and tune this weekend (hopefully). Thank God it's not fast enough to warrant me wearing a helmet. Ain't no stock V6 3300 pound car running a 13.99 1/4 mile, that's for damn sure.
"Unique" does not mean "good". Walking around dressed literally in just a suit, holding a toy shotgun and yelling "YOU ECLAIR!" at pedestrians would be "unique", but it would not necessarily be the best thing to do. Also, there is a reason Glas is no longer in business.
What the hell isn't expensive to insure in the UK? --- Post updated --- A car isn't a sculpture to look at. A car is a machine to function.
And that reason has nothing to do with their cars being bad. Glas had the misfortune of being bought out by BMW solely for technology (Panhard, anyone?).
