Ford apparently has hybrid systems in the works. With a new hybrid Mustang model becoming the top performance mustang, and the F150 using a hybrid system to provide extra low end torque and electricity generation for powering external tools. So depending on how far Ford are along with those plans, perhaps there might be a torque oriented hybrid version of a new Bronco? Since Ford seem to be focusing on doing cool hybrids rather than pure economy hybrids.

Probably not though, since Ford are behind on EV stuff, but possible I guess.

Would be more practical imo if they went with a mild-hybrid system like in the new RAM pickup.
Will be interesting to see what economy figures it delivers once it goes on sale, that instant torque could mean a lot in city driving.

I wouldn't worry too much considering they are also bringing out new Shelby products that will likely outperform the "normal" Mustangs.

But either way, it's hard to complain about a Mustang that is faster to 60mph, and an F150 that is more practical for its intended purpose at job sites (and other uses like camping).

That is of course assuming that Ford don't sandbag it.

What's the use of an RHD car in an LHD country except dismantling for parts and scrap metal anyway?

Until you need to do an overtake. In which case you either need to trust in your passenger or pray that probability plays nice.

Alternatively, you could buy a McLaren F1...

    In before
"X dead as failed overtake leads to collision on motorway Y, authorities uncertain on what caused the crash since weather was clear and drivers were experienced and sober"
Why risk your life over a small price difference?

It's the principle. "Hybrid" and "Mustang" should not be used in the same sentence, unless you're talking about how easily a Mustang outruns hyrbrids. I really want to say the same for the truck, and I don't really care for having a twin-turbo V6 impersonate a V8 in that thing either.

In that sort of collision it's far more likely for the person you hit to receive serious injury than yourself too. Since they would be sat on the side of impact while you wouldn't be. Which is kinda a dick move really.

People need to stop losing there craps over hybrids. Teslas are quarter miling beasts, just saying. It isnt the 60s anymore, and big NA V8s wont work for much longer.

Give it a 900cc turbo I3 and a 9-speed automatic and it'll be dead on.

And... reduce the size of the headlights so you need to add around 5000 lbs of safety equiptment to compensate for when you crash it.
