I'm kind of proud with this redesign, looks a bit more clean now IMO.

Though I would add a little more info onto this since autocars review provides some extra details.

Officially the car can wade through 500mm of water (19.6"), and because electric, it can deliver the power at any wheel speed off road without having to worry about stalling. Meaning it can be far more precise with how much power it delivers to each wheel.

I wonder whether we will see an electric land rover defender, or discovery on the same (or similar) platform with more ground clearance, better support for knobbly tyres etc?

"Hey, you guys want a free car?"
    "Um, yeah....?"
"It's a 2007 Toyota Sequoia, but it only has 33k-ish miles, and everything still works."
    "Sold."

So, I have this sitting in my driveway now, family friend is moving out of the country and he's getting rid of the stuff that he can't bring with him, and well, he had this sitting in his garage, hence the ridiculously low miles for something this old, and all for free. These SUVs typically go for insane money because of that "Toyota reliability value" and anything with low miles like this go for $20k+. Though, it's not totally perfect:

    1. There are scratches here and there,
    2. It hasn't been washed in atleast 2 years,
    3. Someone had stolen one of the center caps off of the wheels,
    4. And the keyless entry remotes don't work anymore, even with new batteries.

Small issues, but they can be handled, the truck itself starts, runs, and drives like brand new, so I'm not complaining. Someone even said that it's literally "Bring A Trailer" material.

Part of me wishes I'd walk into a score like that, but part of me thinks you should take that thing apart down to the chassis and inspect everything in case they're setting you up to take the fall for something illegal they did with it.

We trust him, and I was even there when he went to go buy it at the local Toyota dealership back in 07. It's a literal Florida car with no rust or any issues, apart from being parked underneath an oak tree for a while before he moved it into the garage. Of course we had to do everything "officially", like, change of title, insurance, inspection, and everything checks out. He hasn't left the country until this August. I mean, we've had it since last Thursday now, so.

Keyless entry will have a battery of its own on the car. Likely a PP3 NiMH or NiCd. Being sat for so long, it's probably run so flat that it's beyond recharging, or just needs a few long drives to get a charge back on it. Or you could just replace it, rechargeable 9v batteries should be in places like Walmart

Hm, I'll check that tomorrow, a friend though wants to open up the fobs themselves and see if anything's gone wrong, if not, then replacements are in order.

If there are multiple fobs that aren't working, its more likely that the issue is with a singular system in the car, than multiple keyfobs failing. Not to say that it isn't possible, just that taking apart the keyfobs might not be the place to start, especially if they might be damaged easily in the process of taking them apart like so many other small plastic items.

To be fair, they pretty much need to be taken apart to replace the batteries anyway considering the battery is located behind the little circuit board in the fob. We just found out that one of the fobs had some corrosion in it, how that happened, I don't know, but the second one we managed to get working, and it locks and unlocks, though the rear tailgate window button that rolls it down/up doesn't work, but I'm not concerned about that yet.

Well, this may be a stupid idea, so I have come here of all places to ask exactly how stupid it actually is. We have two volvo xc70 wagons, one from 2002 and one from 2013. The newer one is perfectly fine, but the one I am talking about is the 2002 one. Its turbo is on its way out, so I thought to myself, why don't I simply replace the darn thing with a stage two turbo? I have not spoken about this to anyone yet, because I personally think that this is a retarded idea, but I am going to ask all of you helpful folks out there: Is it really?

Pic of a similar xc70 for reference:

I think you should put a stage 8000 turbo in there

I do sometimes wonder whether every single Web algorithm thinks you are interested in JDM because of how much time you seem to spend on the subject, then shoves as much JDM in your direction as possible, in order to get that sweet sweet click through money.

A semi-famous memer whose name I don't want to mention made a video about it. That's how I found out. No one got any click through money off it because I literally have three different ad blockers running simultaneously right now.

(Also, on a positive note, even Basic supercars will be thematically useful in this game since we'll be able to imitate TaxTheRich100...)

Well, well, well...what a surprise that FH4 is going to be set in the UK. I thought for sure that they would have gone for "The One True Car Culture" (lol no), but they chose Top Gear Land instead.

Also, if you like your news bass-boosted with the UK national anthem...
