I know who Michael is, and I know about the origin of the mask too. I just didn't get where mentioning him and Kirk came from.

Intentionally disproportionate, but it doesn't have any charm to it though.

That can't be real. Why would they cancel it so quickly? Toyota could lose a lot of money doing that.

Also, I am not seeing this being mentioned anywhere else. If this about Toyota cancelling the Supra is true, then I'm very positive the media will be all over it.

EDIT: I was right. My instincts didn't lie. We're still getting the new Supra.

Or you could like, think about what the article says... And what the site says about itself. It's a satire site

I sincerely hope that everyone here is aware that sniffpetrol is the automotive equivalent of the onion. The article is very clearly satire (Not that anyone seems to have read the above article)

Like really, all you need to do is look at the websites wikipedia page.

Honestly, with the degree of intellect common on this forum. Wouldn't surprise me if it had been read

That's what immediately came to my mind, is that it's satire. I don't think any car manufacturer is that stupid to just up and cancel a highly anticipated car.

Whelp, I didn't actually read the article throughout.

I'm taking it down anyways, so you can stop talking about it now.

Maybe this is the replacement for that Supra they just cancelled?...

To be clear, I mean no hard feelings towards you Fenneko, but in future, you could perhaps check that websites you share links from are actually reputable. In this case its just funny, but it can often be far more sinister.

"Only now, with the announcement that production is to end, has Toyota been forced to admit that it started making Supras over six years ago and simply forgot to put the car on sale"
Best conspiration theory I've ever heard.

My tune towards automatics has changed ever so slightly becasue of my new Mustang. It's standard automatic dreadfulness in drive, but in sport with the paddle shifters engaged it's very sharp and just plain fun. Turn the stupid stability aids off (God I fucking hate that shit) and it'll easily slide around.

    I love it.

There's also a fun little tidbit of info I found. Despite having more power, the EcoBoost cars don't accelerate any faster than my V6 car. This is due to the silly amounts of turbo lag associated with getting 310HP out of a food blender. Score one for natural aspiration.

Probably a bit heavier as well. From what I can tell, the Automatic Mustangs have taller gear ratio's too (in both final drive and individual gears), so that may have an effect depending on traction etc.

The way acceleration is marketed is kinda weird. 0-60 is great, except when a gearbox has been tuned specifically to reach 60 in as few gear changes as possible above other factors. And cars that are faster at 0-60 are not always faster from 30-70. I wish a better job of measuring this was done, but then you end up with a spreadsheet that most people don't care about.

Maybe a good system would be to have times for:
    0-60mph
    0-30mph
    50-70mph
    (or kph equivalents ofc)

If people are buying a small commuter car, then the 0-30 speed would be more important, if they are buying a motorway cruiser, 50-70 would be more important. Then keep 0-60 around for general reference.
