I've never driven a modern Mitsubishi that was redeemable until I got ahold of a 2019 Outlander GT the other day. 3.0L V6, 6 speed auto, AWD. The vast majority of these are fitted with a piddly 168hp 2.4L smoothie maker i4 paired with a CVT. The V6/6spd is only available on the GT trim. The body and interior are typical shitty Mistubishi, but I quite like the powertrain. The 3.0 V6 makes a sufficient 224hp, the 6 speed lets it sing, and the AWD puts the power to the ground. 4500rpm is the distinct point where you can hear the VVT kick in. Pretty neat for a new car.
More errands with my aunt driving. I'm scared and we haven't even left the driveway. Send help. End of the trip report: Only a couple of lights completely ignored long enough for it to turn red again and only one near accident. Pretty good. Though we learned the hard way that the brakes on her Altima suck.
Don't you just hate automated sentries watching you everywhere? Here in the US camera tickets of any type, as far as I know (definitely no lawyer), are an auto win if you take them to court since there isn't a real, live police officer who can confirm that you were the one in the driver's seat and were actually committing the charged offense. They just count on the cost to fight the ticket being higher than the cost to pay the ticket. Don't know if it works that way down in Australia though.
aight alex jones calm your shit. What in the merry fuck is this below me? Who thought the Porsche SUV line wasn't ugly enough?
