Dang, how bad is the damage? Good news is everyone is ok and it was very low speed. Hopefully everything works out ok
On a roundabout like that how is it even possible for that cockhead to miss you, that would have been very aggravating for you, was the guy at least apologetic?
No damage thankfully, bumper did a great job. Yeah he was very apologetic, thankfully a pleasant exchange honestly I believe it does
Last week, I went to an event hosted by Mini here in São Paulo, where I drove a Mini Cooper S E. I really enjoyed the experience! The car looks very good, feels fast and has a really nice interior. I would totally have one!
It aint as pretty as before, but my car aint supposed to look pretty Also sorry if this is rather a stupid question but what is a Q45? (apart from obviously your pictured car)
Glad to see it back on the road, looks like it was repaired pretty good. Recently I evacuated to Atlanta due to hurricane Ian, ended up heading up to the mountains to explore and go on an amazing drive.
Thats the fender off the parts car, surprisingly all the dents, knurls or horrible stuff on the rad support and inner fender came out with not a single scar of the damage, though obviously its missing some of its (exceedingly) rarer bits now. i do hope your home and other possesions are alright in the hurricane, certainly seems like a nasty one, hell seems a lot of place seems to be drenched in water at the moment. Makes me feel bad im in sunny West Aus Also where abouts in atlanta is that? looks nices
Great pictures! Really enjoyed those. Reminds me of my grandma's final car, which is why. Hope you are doing well and that you are able to return home in the near future.
Just to be clear, I've been home for a few weeks. All of my things survived, we even still had power most of the time. Those pics are from northeast Georgia up in the mountains.
Got some Impala SS wheels. They aren't the ones I wanted for the white car originally, but they really grew on me the second I stood back and looked at it. Another set of them would look amazing on the GS once I get that project going. Next on the to do list is the tie rods, wheel bearings, CV axles, and an HD differential swap. I also need to get new tires as these new to me ones are mismatched junkyard tires that came with the wheels.
Forgot to post this, but my wheel fell off while driving a month and a half ago No dash cam though . already rusted, though how I’ve got no clue.
I imagine you just casually watched your wheel pass you as you brake. Just another day of the rebellious wheel. 'It's not just a phase, Toyota!'
Literally exactly what happened! It rolled into the oncoming lane, then rolled up the opposite side of the ditch, almost hit a parked 80s gmc bus, then rolled back down. The entire time, my car was in still level, like it still had four wheels. After I stopped, it finally tilted down.
