It's a shop manual. It's not AMC-produced, but it has details on everything in the entire car. I have the owners' manual as well, I'll have to look through that as well. The headlamp mounts are notoriously fragile on these cars, as well, so I'd hesitate to take out the headlight assemblies.
@bussin.buses How should i send you those carburettor manuals?, i dont believe i can send them over pm anymore. Believe me it'll need a lot more than a simple clean out if you want it to actually run better. If your lucky your model BBD might have metering rods and jets compatible with the Edelbrock Performer series, some late '70s BBD models were like that
I just got the Eagle fully registered! It’s finally road legal, so it won’t just sit at my parents’ house all the time! @simsimw I think you asked for a tour of my AMC in the comments on my other Eagle project video, so here’s a compilation of a bunch of clips. You could probably just send me an E-mail containing images of them. I’ll shoot you a PM of my E-mail address.
This time i actually fixed that fucking gauge, i knew it had a resin coating on the resistor board (the bit the float arm contacts) and i had sanded it.... Not enough it seems, sanded it properly this time. First time since the Hilux (my first car) that ive driven or owned a car with a working fuel gauge, never mind the fact that the float rises beyond the full mark or the fact that the gauge itself needs a new resistor to slow the movement of the needle.... Anyways get a look at that original paint hiding underneath that disgusting blue paint, that blue is just damn feral looking and im sick of it (kinda makes me wish i left the roof white), watch this space because i have an idea that involves a lot of compressed air and particle masks.... Ah now my old Hilux, the year was 2019, i just saved my first ever $1000 bucks, i was 16 (i think, cant really remember), had no job, still in high school, somehow had managed to get one of the hottest chicks i had ever seen/met gain a secret liking in me, and i still hadn't been kicked out of home yet, and discovered Roy Orbison... Man how much i miss those times back in that little country town, they say you can never go back home (as if i even had one to begin with) and you know what; You definitely cant visit it either, unless you've got pictures... And a picture of one proud owner of course! --- Post updated --- Alright then. Love the attention to detail in the video, gave me a good laugh
Went to a car show today and parked next to some 3rd gens, looks like a scene straight out of the 1992
When I was traveling through Michigan I saw an entire Chevy car show in progress. Photo is kinda bad because I was in the back of our Flex and I almost missed it
@CaptainCrutch Do you think you could tell me more about your truck? It appears to be a fire truck. I love semis, especially old ones.
