the beige color of the interior is quite beautiful and the wooden inserts in the interior too, I don’t understand why people don’t like it.
I know, but his opinion doesn't matter if those are his tastes. Now let's stop this and get back on track.
The Dodge Attitude will get a new generation sooner or later. It will no longer be based on the Mitsubishi Mirage G4; in fact, thanks to Stellantis' partnership with GAC, it will now be based on the GAC Trumpchi Empow - which looks like a smaller Audi A7 Sportback. This means that, it will grow up from being a subcompact to a compact family car, most probably due to safety reasons.
Your right, it is possible, but as the decades go on it just gets increasingly difficult to continue using these old rigs as daily transportation, you have to remember that most of these cars are about one transmission or engine or structual rust problem away from being pulled from active service to either be sidelined for repairs that rarely eventuate or parted out or worse... At what point do you call it quits on machinery thats just too expensive to repair or maintain. Humans dont last forever either...
I guess we´re just dinosaurs that will die out together with our cars. I just hope I can finish my time driving old cars but recently it looks like thats a goal I can only achieve if I die tomorrow... its not only about repairability (well in some countries it might be but certainly not in most western) its moslty about politics. If I am legally not allowed to drive an old car or get taxed off the road then its gg anyways.
Ok Ford just announced that "we are going to have to get ready for a small car from Ford." They also said that we "have fallen in love with massive trucks". I cannot stand this hypocrisy. They are the ones who stopped production of small cars.
To be fair, people should fall in love with smaller cars, but given Ford's ongoing habit of ruining iconic car nameplates by using them on crossovers (just look at the Mondeo! it turned from a four-door saloon to some weird crossover), they have absolutely NO right to say that, especially after they axed their only smaller cars: the EcoSport, Figo, Fiesta, and Focus. This is why I don't like Ford anymore except for their really good cars like the Mustang, Ranger, Territory, and Bronco. --- Post updated ---
New Ranger still cannot compare to the 2000s Ranger (no personal bias of course). I do like the Flex, as it was a modern take at a station wagon.
Back in the 50s-70s, there were a grandiose amount of car brands and models in the world (even third world countries), but some of them ended up leaving. I wonder why.
Unfortunately I sold my Chrysler 300C today after about a 2 ish years of ownership due to my new job requiring me to commute into the London ULEZ low emissions zone (All diesels before 2015 have to pay £12.50 a day to enter along with most petrols made before 2005.) so it had to go. Replaced it with a 2016 Mercedes A160 which is admittedly way less cool but its better on fuel and ULEZ compliant. Going to collect it from the dealer tomorrow. Sadly my streak of owning quirky and unusual daily drivers has come to an end.
oh boy you have been proven correct once again with the fucking Capri (I may be 3 or so days late but wtf Ford)
If they use the Taunus name in one ..... --- Post updated --- 2000's World crisis : am i a joke to you ?
Why is almost every plug in hybrid or ev a sedan or suv? Volvo makes an V60 hybrid but it’s only available in the performance trim, there’s no BMW i5 touring, there’s no Toyota Corolla hatchback hybrid, etc.
