My friends, today we must say goodbye to, not really a friend, but something that is taking me one step closer to my ultimate DOS gaming box. Today we lay to rest the Packard Bell Axcel 2520 (I think that's the model). It gave it's life and most of it's soul to bring back the Packard Bell Legend 2440 from the dead. Today, we also lay a very dear friend of mine to rest. As of 7:45 P.M. EST on March 10, 2016, my MacBook Pro has officially kicked the bucket. I went to turn it on to re-partition the hard drive, and nothing would happen. I left it plugged in for a good 25-30 minutes to charge up a little bit, but still nothing. I'll miss it, it never served me wrong. It was the most reliable machine I've owned to date (right up until it wasn't). I will one day find a way to revive it, and make it better than it ever was. Goodbye old friend, I'll miss you. You left me with this stupid fucking HP Pavilion 15 craptop, you asshole. I'm actually tearing up a bit.
welp. i lost my usb floppy drive. so now in order to get pictures off my camera that uses floppy discs, i have to do a couple more steps. First i have to boot lucid puppy linux on a pIII laptop with floppy and cd drive, then i have to copy files from floppy to usb. ug
I'm thinking of an R7 370. Yay or nay? --- Post updated --- Oops. I didn't even know floppy disk cameras existed.
Camera probably. I can't imagine an R7 370 being very "awesome." However, the 370 is great price to performance, and if that's what you can afford, it's overall better than the GTX 950.
ok so I'm getting some more ram tomorrow, and im wondering if its safe to do a pseudo hot swap. I'll throw the sticks in while my pcs running then restart so that they should work. is there any danger to doing this? I'm only asking because my pcs a bitch and won't boot after being shut down for some reason.
