    We weren't arguing?

    1. Being the thread creator doesn't make me any more important than anyone else :|
    2. When did I 'humiliate' the game developers? If that's what you mean.

Well, right now it's running 4.4GHz. Gigabyte 970A-UD3P. Cooling is an AIO 120mm water cooler I got cheap. At 4.8GHz and beyond it requires a lot of juice (Well over 1.5v) and gets pretty hot under load. (Throttles under Prime95.) Until I can lap the CPU and AIO then get better fans for the radiator I'm sticking at 4.4GHz.

Get a 480mm radiator for maximum overclock.

Get a other 775 board, so you are sure it's not due the CPU or RAM.

Since I might be going to Prauge this summer, I'm planning to get a 4160 with a MSI H97 board, 8GB of HyperX Fury RAM and a 212+ Evo. Is 280€ a fair price for that (Bosnia is around 350€)

It's not too expensive. Do you have a graphics card to use with that build?

I'd sooner change that, unless you have a very old or bad CPU.

Why? I bought it as a replacment for my 5450 and it chews anything i throw at it.

I don't have the money to buy a new GPU every year or an CPU or other.

I just bought a Corsair Carbide 200R Mid Tower case, some cheap Asus CD/DVD-RW drive, and MSI Z97 Gaming 7 motherboard off Newegg. I already have a 850W modular PSU, and I'll eventually end up buying another AMD video card in addition to my current card. I'm going to end up using the majority of the hardware in my current machine for this one. Should work pretty decently for my needs. I'm very excited to build it, as I've been saving up for a while. :D

Anything below a 260X usually falls a bit short for gaming. If it does what you want then it's fine though.

60 degrees is perfectly normal. You don't need to worry unless it goes over 80.
