From what I can tell he has a pre built system, probably has a reference GTX 960. Download the latest driver from here: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/372.90/372.90-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe Also why do you have Tor browser?
I talked alot about jet coasters and wanting robb to go to North Korea to get a onride video of Kwansong Yolcha Jet Coaster.
I am an utter fool! After a quick visit to task manager, I realised that my chip is clocking 3.3ghz, so this was not the source of my problem. So I went back to forza 6 apex, and discovered a setting titled "dynamic render settings" I disabled this and saw an fps cap setting. I set this to unlimited, join a race and maintain a stable 90 fps @medium settings, where I used to struggle to hit 30!
I'm kinda curious how a Core 2 Quad QX6700 would run BeamNG, since it used to be around $1000 in 2006...
Unless it was overclocked, pretty woefully. Although the last time I used a C2Q to run BeamNG was in the early days. Optimization might be better now.
I used to play BeamNG in the early days pretty bad hardware, on an old Pentium and GT 430 with 3gb ram, but that was sorta playable (barely!) with a Covet on old GridMap on low settings, so it might run better than that, which was like just over 20fps at average. I even used to play RoR multiplayer with you on that PC, but you probably won't remember me lol
I think I remember you, bringing back some memories there. My crappy servers I used to host on a Pentium 3 with 128MB's of ram.
I used to mostly play on that server on (I can't quite remember the host's name, I think it was neorej or something?) the custom St Helens map, and for some reason I specifically remember you saying that my GT 430 was really old. The host had a developer rank on the forums for some reason. I was HiddenGamer.
I remember you exactly. Host name was Cifpo, owners username was Neorej16. That was the first server I moderated as a admin.
I was a mod on that server, haven't done any moderation over anything online since. I was a pretty bad moderator. 400th post lol and to think some people have been here shorter than me and have 1000+ haha
got my ibm t60 up and running again. Windows 7. I changed the lock screen to this Also i need help. Burnout paradise black screens after the intro on it. I have to alt f4 out. ATI x1400 gpu, 3gb of ram, core2duo t7400. 32bit windows 7 pro. I have tried running it in windows xp compatibility but that didnt work. anyone got other things to try? EDIT oh yea. forgot the boot animation. excuse the utter crap quality of my phone camera
I Just boosted my card from 1100 mhz to 1500 and have seen gains of up to 10 fps in forza horizon 3. Why didn't I do this earlier?
So currently I am running the integrated graphics on our computer. The graphics are Intel HD 4600, but I have an old Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS from our old computer lying around. My question is should I install the Nvidia or are the Intel graphic better? I think I know the answer to this but want to check with somebody that actually knows something about graphics. TIA.
Aww, you've got the cool T60. My T60 came with a T2400 and Intel GMA945. I upgraded the chip to a T7600 and threw an SSD in it, but it still only has 1GB of ram and Intel graphics. Not that I'm expecting gaming performance from this laptop, but youtube videos at 720p is a luxury I so desire that GMA945 can't deliver.
