    Cars specifically or props too?

Nvm in the time that I typed that and the time I checked it out here are some results I got
also where would I post this stuff?

37 cones were able to be spawned until the 38th crashed the game
Fps was perfectly fine at a dandy playable rate above 40

15 v8 awd d series trucks were able to be spawned until the 16th didn't spawn and put the camera in the "broken" place I then tried to respawn it since it counted itself as a vehicle and the game crashed
Fps was obviously about 1 or barely more since it was 15 D series

I don't have the screenshot for the cones since the screen went black instead of having the game displayed in the background like so
    beamng15trucks.jpg
    screenshot_00073jpeg.jpg
    screenshot_00072jpeg.jpg
and the cones one with about 28 or so cones
    screenshot_00071jpeg.jpg

Oh and for reference since the specs will be changing
GTX 950 XLR8 with a -90 to the core and -210 to the memory
    Intel I5 4460 4c/4t @3.2ghz or so
with 16gb of ddr3 ram 37% memory usage with game closed
    plus all the stuff open
(all done at 100% speed with no slow motion)

Does depend on the vehicle though :p

I did use a cone to compare so it does depend from object to object, I could test every vehicle and every prop

Thats really strange, the cones and very basic props I can't even manage 28 of before it crashes and with the D series the camera just glitched and it wouldn't spawn past 10 cars. Which is where I always get the estimate of "about 10 cars max".

I'm still getting a decent 45-50FPS at this point too so I'm not really sure why I'm not able to load more considering I have a more powerful CPU, GPU and likely higher clocked RAM than you. Plus I'm running the game from an SSD..

geez, would you be up for a reinstall? plus I was running 25 active mods but have about 75 different zip folder in the mods section
    How many mods you got?
Oh and as for ram it is only a 1600mhz "set"
("set" as in a 8gb pny stick and 2x4gb sticks that came with the pooter)

I really don't get why you can't get past 10
and you were running 40-50 fps
    I was running potato fps

How much faster are loading times with an SSD? Mine's arriving tomorrow, so a gauge would be nice.

    And I can run 16 pickups before a C2D :p

I could time it for a hdd, give me a starting and stopping point and then @VeyronEB could do the same for their SSD

How about loading ECA default spawn after a cleared cache, then ran again without clearing cache? That way we can get a good idea of both the 1st load and cached load. End is when the license plate loads on the vehicle (preferably pickup, but your default works too).

I'll try out a reinstall now out of curiosity. I don't have a huge number of mods really, probably about 10 maps and 10 cars as well as some small stuff.

Honestly pretty bad, I originally had it on my 5400rpm 2TB WD Red drive and moving it to my SSD it doesn't feel much better at all, its barely noticeable. May be improved when I reinstall now but I'll update on that then.

Well just reinstalled and now I'm able to go up to 16 cars no problem and 30+ basic props, much more like it. I can also say loading times are alot better now too.

Runs pretty well too, about 30fps, GPU limited.

Not sure what it was that was causing so much slow down before but its much better now for loading times too :D

Now if you wanted you can crash 12 trucks :D
    EDIT:
I wonder if I tried spawning all the trucks again if the game will crash at the same point or crash sooner or later
    time to find out
    EDIT(2):
33-34 secs to load up E.C.USA
    time to clear cache
first cleared cache attempt got a 40-41, something may have went wrong, I don't know
second cleared cache attempt got a 38-39, seems like the same thing occurred again (late reaction)
third cleared cache attempt got a 37-38, nothing wrong turn out what is happening is normal
fourth cleared cache attempt got a 37-38, nothing to note

Shall I try a 200mhz+(core) and 400mhz+(mem) to the gpu?

More or less the same for me, every load of ECA was about 33-35 seconds and thats from my SSD.

No, I mean clear cache to wipe the level data, making it created a new cache, then DONT clear cache the second time, so it's faster. Thanks, though :)
Oh, you did silly me :p

I finished Odin server, it's a NAS. Specs: Pentium G630, 8GB RAM, an Intel gigabit NIC, four 2TB WD Red HDDs, a 16GB flash drive.
It is running Arch, installed onto the flash drive, with the WD Reds in a BTRFS RAID 10. It has samba installed, so it works with Windows.

    Gigabit is wonderfully fast.
    --- Post updated ---
Update to that: I've put a couple games on the NAS. It works... Quite well actually...

(I guess this belongs in this thread)

I'm looking at buying a smartphone with a $150 CAD or lower budget. So far my best options seem to be a Samsung Galaxy S5 ($115), LG G3 ($125), and a 2014 Motorola Moto X ($100). Originally I wanted a more durable phone like a Kyocera Brigadier, but I could never find one with affordable shipping to Canada. I also figured that something with more performance would be useful. Anyone have any suggestions?

My mum loved her old first-gen X. She got a third-gen Moto G afterwards because Vodafone is a pain to unlock phones from.

However, the LG is a phablet and packs more power iirc.
