Absolutely no idea. Just a simple little HP Pavilion Seperated computer. It sucks. Its from like 2007.
Alright, thanks! I was planning initially on putting together an R7 1700 build this winter, but certain things (such as the memory prices) have made me put it off for later. Now I'm planning on buying the parts over the course of a year, so maybe the prices of memory will come back down when I get around to buying some. This might also allow me to buy more expensive parts as I'm not trying to budget for everything at once, but rather as I go on. The first parts I plan on acquiring later this month will be a decent power supply (~750 watt?), and an X370 based motherboard (for eventual overclocking). The next parts I'll get after those in 2018 will be storage (two SSDs - one SATA, one M.2), and possibly a CPU cooler (I prefer air, not a CLC). Suggestions are welcome, and I am still thinking of a theme for the build, too. As for the rest of the parts, AMD is planning on releasing 12nm Ryzen processors for AM4 some time in Q1-Q2 of 2018, so I may hold off on buying a processor until that release... The current 14nm chips will drop in price, and there will be new options, too. I'm also looking at AMD's graphics cards as I plan on buying a Freesync monitor in the future (I'd go with a nVidia card, but G-sync monitors aren't cheap), I'm not sure if AMD is releasing any new GPUs next year, though. The new cases on the market right now don't seem too attractive performance-wise, so I'll likely wait for new releases there too. Memory is likely the last thing I'll get, but I'll try for the fastest I can find. Still a lot to plan out.
anyone here can tell me if this is good together(i5-7600k/zotac-gtx-1060-6gb amp edition/16gb-ddr4-2400mhz/ msi-z270a pro mobo)?
Off topic but why does downloading apps download them then install then download the next one. Why doesn't it just download all of them and then install them one by one, helps really when you are downloading off ur WiFi and have to go so you don't have time to wait for it to install the app. I suppose it doesn't take long but my phone an it's Dual Core 1 ghz phone just doesn't run that fast. Amazingly so it does run Nougat at a reasonable speed (unofficial Lineage) but websites with lots of ads are just catastrophically slow like 1 min to load up a page before scrolling really tests ur patience. But it can run YouTube in small screen. 480p in full screen can be a struggle though as Hardware acceleration is a bit hit and miss and miss and miss and miss (you get the idea it works once in a blue moon ) But using the phone is more surviveablw than you would think. But doing snapchat Streaks is awful, takes like 10 minutes it's slow on normal android hardware let alone mine.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, 1ghz dual core Arm Cortex A9. It's an iPad 2 processor running comparatively heavy Android. It can fall to a halt but I'll test out snapchat on my iPad soon as I have the iPad 2. Just to prove how unoptimised Snapchat is on Android. But I'm getting a One Plus 5T for Christmas so I'm happy, Snapdragon 835 I can't wait, like 8 cores again, 2.4 ghz of A73 gloriousness..kcome to think of it it is a similar arm big.LITTLE to the S810 but this time on a better process (10nm) so more efficient.
Oh wow. How long have you had that thing? lol I thought my phone was slow. I've had an samsung j5 (2015 version) now for around 2 years now and i'm gonna get an new phone as well.
In the circle, we call that "the computer". It's the standard Intel based bang for the buck gaming rig. So yes, it's quite good.
thanks for the reply. will there be any bothleneck in any of the parts listed there? like is this a good fit, sorry if my English is bad :S
5 years i dropped my Zenfone 3 in a pool (well it was in my swimming trunks pocket!!) so it died. It really is like a different league, i saw someone at a christmas fare, old lady who was only taking pictures with it and it was working quite well. I suppose i could solve the Hardware acceleration issue by going back to the stock ROM (Android 4.1.2 ) but Nougat is quite nice and i still can do things like web browsing just a lot more slowly (it makes time go faster, not gonna lie like my normal trip on the beam website takes 3-4x longer on that phone so i spend 3-4x longer on it!). And it gets pretty hot too, i am glad phone CPUs don't come on a 45nm process anymore (10nm is gorgeous). It's like going from a Core i5 U CPU now to a Core 2 Duo, it is way more inefficient and slower and well it works, but that's about it.
Decided to get a 212EVO with my Corsair SP120's to cool my 2600k, just gotta wait for it to get here from Ireland, after taking apart my Antec Kuhler H1200 AIO I definitely don't trust AIO's anymore. Turns out Antec used a aluminium radiator with a Copper block, the result? Lots of lovely corrosion in the system. The radiator was filled with it. No wonder it didn't cool for shit towards the end.
And I was going to be getting an AIO thing at some point... Well atleast I know to stay away from Antec. I mean, come on! Even I know mixing metals like that, especially when water is involved is a bad idea
I doubt I'll ever go back to AIO's, think I'll just stick with giant air coolers and custom loops. My guess is they used a alu rad to save on cost, it's a pretty cheap cooler after all.
I'll just have to look into more higher end ones then. I don't trust myself in the slightest with a custom loop, and a thicc air cooler would be fine if my room wasn't filled with all the dust
Slowly hating Windows 10 as the days go on. The 32GB machines can't run it properly, it is just too bloated. the winSXS folder is also too large, like 7gb on one of the 32gb tablets on my thread and 4.5gb on 32gb work laptop and i just can't get the size down. I really don't want to reinstall windows, because that takes another week or so in updates, like A WEEK! not joking this is just outrages, because my DVD for Win10 has an old copy it will take a lot of updates (time to pirate a fresh one me thinks) to get it back up to speed.
