I too missed mine, a T420. Other than the keyboard I'd say it's a worthy replacement after replacing the TrackPad, the original one to the T440 is abysmal, especially if you're a heavy TrackPoint user like me. Having a modern 1080P screen is nice too, the one I went with has some brilliant colours.

Looks great, that trackpad upgrade really should have came from the factory the stock one is awful. Also that screen looks great in your picture, is it an IPS panel?

Yeah it should, I have no idea what Lenovo was thinking when they did that to the trackpad. The screen is indeed an IPS panel, mine seems to have an issue with a purple blotch on the screen that seems to be slowly fading, kinda like burn-in, the panel I bought was pulled from a T460 and only cost me £40 so I'm not going to complain. I'm going to order a new backlit keyboard from Lenovo next and eventually a palmrest with the finger print reader. I'm glad I took the gamble on the problem with the mouse, the money I've saved has gotten me a screen and trackpad and a genuine 9-cell battery thrown in with the laptop.

OpenBSD may as well be called "Old Faithful." It's the most reliable OS I've ever used, and the default install (at least on an x86 machine -- I prefer PowerPC, but I've had some occasional issues on that front) is always 100% secure. Not to mention it's fucking fast. I get performance from OpenBSD that blows Debian out of the water every time. The kicker? If you use OpenBSD, you can simply laugh in the face of Spectre and Meltdown, because they were patched eleven years ago. I recommend you give it a whirl, at least in a VM.

Got my hand on a sweet Bequiet!'s purerock slim, and that thing is just over killed for my i5-4460 Tbh.
I' m getting amazing temps, idling at 28°c and, from the few game I've tested, never going about 38°c. (Room at 21°c, I'll see in summer.)

Though I'm really disappointed by its mounting mechanism, using the same thing as the stock Intel cooler thing, it's really not good.

(Idk what should up with the photos they look shit)

My PC is very good, it can run Project CARS 2 at medium graphics, with 60 FPS, or more, it's a fair good with BeamNG, it's an HP Envy from 2014 :)

Yeah, it's like, Project CARS, is one of those games that don't need too much requirements to run the game, my PC can run Trackmania very well too :)

Really rather annoyed at my YouTube channel being demonetised, i have 120 subscribers and there is no way i would get 880 needed to get monetised and i am also lacking in watch time. Bit of a shame really as i have just had my first paycheck from google, £70! not bad and was very encouraging, but now it's all gone

Depends on the GPU and the CPU, and the RAM

ugh, start recording a youtube video of beamNG and MSI afterburner has the GPU fan stuck on 0%. So my GPU was cooking at 95C throttling away! But it didn't matter as 2 minutes later a cat came in meowing and so did my mum. *sigh* the life of a 15 yr old YouTuber :p

Power goes out 4 times in 10 seconds then stays off for an hour. When it comes back online I boot my PC and the fans run at 100%. Not worried, happens sometimes. Then it stays for ~2 minutes after login. Finally calms down, then I see this:

121C mainboard? Too bad I already ate breakfast, I'm about to have a fried potato.
HWMonitor must be giving spastic readings, but why did the fan stay on longer than ever before? It's only ~13C in the house because the heater broke (so I just game on mp PC and it warms my room to livable temps lol).

Sounds like a faulty sensor. I wouldn't worry about it.

Faulty sensor on the motherboard? Sounds like that would cause some cooling issues. Or is it a software issue, because I am a few updates behind on HWMonitor.
