The feeling of lying in your bed with a game cube controller in your hands is just a completely different feeling.
Also, IMO, playing older games like snes games in 1080p with better graphics just isn't the same.

Really? I've never heard anyone complain about the GC controllers... It's personally my favourite controller out of any gamepad/console controller I've ever played with. Then again, the Gamecube is by far my favourite console.

As for anyone saying to use Dolphin: I used Dolphin quite a while ago. It was fine, until it started running very poorly and having problems with the sound all the time. Although I did get to play Kirby Air Ride in splitscreen using two joysticks. That was interesting.

I'm also wondering if there's some way to connect a Gamecube controller to a PC out of curiosity.

It is a very comfortable feeling. You're just missing one thing...

My cat joins me fairly often when I play on my Gamecube. In this case, my brother placed her on top of the TV. And she stayed. Probably for almost 10 minutes, until she slid off the back. lol (the game on the screen is Tales of Symphonia if someone was wondering...)

There most certainly is a usb adapter for the GC controller as there is for just about every controller for the old consoles.

Ha! I didn't know you were really going to do this! Would love to see someone bidding a good fortune for that cracker. Wish you luck for that to happen.

Yep, thanks for the support :p. I edited in a link to my original post for context. Was somewhat inspired by the Illinois-shaped cornflake that everyone always puts in their "Weirdest stuff sold on eBay" lists.

Guys, I've uncovered a conspiracy. The two bidders made an account on the same date one year apart. This can only mean one thing...

Downloads are 2x at home and uploads are nearly 4x faster. The ping is also really good.

Straya got new PM. Apparently he wants to bring gay marriage in.

Bout time we caught up with the rest of the world in that sense. What are we, like a decade behind Europe & Canada?

Too put it into perspective how behind we are let me say this:

    Its legal in Alabama.

I repeat. Gay marriage is legal in Alabama.
