*praises* ahh i remember the good ol' days, back when beam was just a baby and everyone on the forum was nice, but then again, I made sure to act maturely and think twice about what I posted.
If you hire only those people you understand, the company will never get people better than you are. Always remember that you often find outstanding people among those you don't particularly like.-Soichiro Honda this quote does fit with the current forum situation let me edit the quote. if you only allow those members that you can understand the fourm will never get members better than you are always remember that you often find outstanding members among those you don't particularly like.
While I am perfectly willing to give you a chance, let me be the first to say that trying to use quotes from respectable people to make excuses for yourself is one of the fastest ways to lose respect. Let me put it this way. "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." -JFK "ask not what bubbleawsome can do for you, ask what you can do for bubbleawsome." -me
He wasn't making an excuse for himself. He was demonstrating how the Honda quote applies to this forum, in case you hadn't already figured it out. Let's talk about the Quadfish
The forum keeps getting an error and I have to keep refreshing the page to make them load. Fatal Error: Invalid URL
Time for an anecdote. I have a group of female friends in my life, and it's led to an obervation that women have a rather impressive proclivity toward negative social politics and general bitchiness. As you can imagine, I find it quite exhausting to spend any more than a few hours with the girls because at some point we're going to enter 'that conversation'. The one where someone's being criticized and derided relentlessly over petty nonsense that no-one cares about. This makes it a really crap social environment that I stop enjoying. I don't like people just being petty and sniping at others, not because it's mean but because it's trivial and stupid drama that serves no purpose other than some kind of mental circlejerk. It's low brow conversation that doesn't interest me, and I doubt anyone outside of the circlejerk cares much either. They just find it lowers the tone of things. What woudl really help the atmosphere of this forum out is if the community would stop sniping and bitching about petty shit. MinecraftFanWithABan isn't the most mature forum member. Fantastic, we all know. We all understand. Great. Can we talk about something worthwhile now? Because I don't care, him being immature is trivial and hearing about it is just pointless, annoying petty drama.
I know, right? People must have to much time on their hands if they want to come here to talk crap about other members. I posted previously about ktheminecraftfan because i sensed a group fustercluck raining down hate on him, so I just made a really strong positive point, which funnily enough other forum members respected and didnt start another crapstorm. I just come here to see the progress, download mods, help other users out and maybe hear some tech discussion. Really, people, stop the gossip. Go outside, there's much better stuff to do than complain about how a new member bumped a thread from 2011.
Since half the forum has member quotes in their signatures, I decided this is the one. What a moving and influential quote. Oh and my dumbass friend on Skype thinks this is perfect logic. (talking about NASCAWR) (imported from here)
OOH hype train! i want a seat! lemme try... "BOOKS ARE NOTHING BUT RIGHT-WING PROPAGANDA DISTRIBUTED BY EXTREMIST SHADOW ORGANIZATIONS TO SUBCONSCIOUSLY ENTER OUR THOUGHTS AND INFLUENCE OUR DECISIONS... Like voting for Trump, or eating salad" - me somebody give me a nobel prize dammit
Or Fox News... Or CNN... or the BBC... Or a news source of absolutely any. I've stopped watching the news. I don't care about what's happening in the world. I don't care about who runs what country, I'm not even going to vote for a president of the U.S. This is what happens when you grow up watching Fox "News". You just stop giving a shit.
This is supposedly the reason why my parents subscribed to The Blaze. It's apparently unbiased TV and radio shows even if the site looks like BuzzFeed. I don't even listen to it half the time but from what I've heard it's a very good source.
I really don't understand why anyone would ever use a website layout like that. It looks like someone just randomly vomited articles everywhere with no sense of organization.
Near me there is a massive pink (Likely originally red) boat that has just been sitting on a big framework by the highway for as long as I can remember.
