Re: General discussion chat I took my sisters macbook she got from her school because for some reason all of the freshmans' computers weren't ready when they were deploying them yesterday. I love forming on this thing. It's great.
Re: General discussion chat It's not that hard to ride a bike. Why do we need a game for it.. (Although, I guess that could be said for a lot of games..)
Re: General discussion chat School started last Friday, and i kind of don't like my schedule, like Potato. Here it is. Homeroom 1st period LA 2nd Science 3rd Chinese 4th Cinematography 5th Georgia studies 6th Math 7th Engineering 1 semester, Creative Expressions 2nd. And then home. And i am dead tired after school, and I am in 8th grade. I thought school when it started would be easier, but NO. (sorry i don't post much on this thread.) - - - Updated - - - Walking fast (let's try to finish the song one phrase at a time)
Re: General discussion chat Well, I go to a decent school, so I am having actual fun. My school is for the people who are above average in test scores and crap. High school will be worse since I will get plopped back in the idiot tank. And I fucking hate people who can't use their brains, even if they have potential. I'm not hating on disabled people, but the kind of people who drive and it takes them 5 minutes to realize the light has turned green.
Re: General discussion chat Luckily for me I'm not going back to Sixth Form or College. I had an interview and aptitude tests for Jaguar Land Rover today and got an apprenticeship as a light vehicle technician
Re: General discussion chat Nah the whole reason 8th grade sucked was because of above average classes, and bitch teachers. I've concluded that middle school is a joke. It gets really hard, especially in Tennessee where they try to make up for our woefully inadequate education system by giving us ridiculous standards and amounts of work, and none of it really matters in the end. (accept for high school class placement, but a few phone calls can fix that lol) I had lots of fun in 8th grade, but the stress from school passed the amount of fun I had by a mile. My Middle school was a great school, too, one of the best in this part of the state.
Re: General discussion chat You've still overstated the difficulty of riding a bike there. My youngest sister is 3 and will not be 4 until November, so just a wee little tot really. She is very happy to ride her bike around the garden, this is a normal bicycle with pedals of course. She does this unaided from adults and without stabilisers. So there we have it, a 3 year old can ride a bike perfectly fine. "It's not that hard", don't say, a 3 year old can do it.
Re: General discussion chat 8th grade was okay for me. I went to a magnet school that year instead of my town's school. (Like a private school, except public.) It was a longer day and I didn't get home til like 4:30 or so but it started later and most of the classes were pretty easy. (I barely learned anything in Spanish and I still got a decent grade.) 9th grade was a lot harder. (Mainly just more stuff to do. Plus some of my classes were pretty boring. In one of them I fell asleep a lot.)
