I liked the old forum TBH, and my avatar is all pixely now. Fuck that, why was this even needed, the old forum was fine. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Well this is different... I hope I can get used to the new forums. So far I preferred the layout of the old one much more. And totoro broke! Noooo... I'll just wait and see if it'll get fixed. Or maybe it's because it's in .gif format? Or to be fixed soon due the forums not working fully yet. EDIT: Why did my join date change to October 1, 2013? I remember buying the game and making an account here on October 13, 2013... EDIT2: Is the devblog page non-existant at the moment, or is it hiding somewhere?

oh riiight you can get the old style by clicking that thing on the bottom its not old, but so many times much more usable.
vBulletin is good, why change? What annoys me is the lack of padding on the sides, the website is way too wide and looks cluttered without whitespace.
As tdev said in another post : vBulletin had some security concerns, as well, it was starting to be unsupported. This new software has many more features and is better overall.
Fair enough, I suppose. Security is a big part of a small business. May I ask what software you guys have moved to? EDIT: Xenforo. Interesting. Did you guys investigate IP.Board or Proboards?
Yes, i agree that some blank space on the sides would help quite a bit. maybe not as much as you put on there but just enough to make it seem less busy. this is the first time i have seen the new forums and i think they are ok. I wish the theme was a bit clearer though. Actually if you preferred how the forums used to look you can get pretty close using the theme chooser at the bottom of the screen. But i will be sticking with the new layout.
I like the new look, it's just the lack of any blank space that bothers me. I tried the 'old' theme and it just takes the worst of both :/
Okay, I just finished playing through The Beginner's Guide. What a beautiful "game" it was, if you could even call it that. Was by far the most deep and thought-provoking game I've ever played.
