The moderators over there are on something (I don't know what), and all of the immature 11 year olds are posting stolen mods and the actual good mods are not getting any more updates or have been cancelled. It seems that even just 3 months ago that forum was a more inviting place. That's nothing when you consider an IP and some other information was used to source the name and school of a banned user so the school could be "informed" and apparently "legal action" taken on the person if needed. Oh and disclosing their full name in a public forum post. How lovely :|
Not really, they made a few accounts and posted some stolen meshes. They are hardly the devil and definitely don't need to be stalked by a moderator not matter what.
The RoR community is just dead. You get banned for every post you make, the mods seem to have gone insane and your name is being leaked publically. I wonder, how long will it take till jeepster leaks someone's address, along with all their info? The thought of that is just scary.

The scary part is that he faces basically 0 opposition. His post asking for help with his witchhunt has like 17 thanks or something. Tons of other mesh steelers have existed in the past, one of them throwing a temper tantrum shouldn't inspire Jeepster to do the same.
I personally think he is taking his moderating job too seriously so what the person has stolen meshes it doesn't mean the person has been committing something criminal.
I loved the RoR community so much I never actually signed up. I kinda just downloaded and watched mods develop in peace. (Still waiting on that Veyron, atv_123 )
I got an infraction once for bumping an old thread yeah they are strict when it comes to people bumping threads, does anyone think they should introduce that rule to this forum?

Jeepster was always a massive dick head. He's extremely argumentative and self-centered. He's kind of like me, but if I were about 200% worse. Honestly, I think that I'm doing a little better with the whole "being a cunt" thing I seem to suffer from for whatever reason.
Maybe he's speaking of his off forum personality. I don't know if he is self centred or a cunt off the forums either to be fair, but how can we tell? I'm sure what we perceive of each others personalities through the forum isn't that representative of our real life selves. Off the forums. I am slowly having to come to accept that apparently I am a huge sweetheart. Certainly a rather kindhearted fellow. Although, one of the best moments of my life. Was sat talking with a female acquaintance of mine (whom we shall call anne for no real reason) and a close friend (whom ironically to this story, is kinda more than that now). Relationships etc were not actually the topic of conversation, although it was a bit of a talk on things we'd done, ourselves and our pasts etc. Dear old anne turned around and gave me "Hey, you're actually a really great down to earth guy, if not for me being a lesbian I'd be all over you". MFW a lesbian that I actually have a bit of a disliking of (for completely unrelated reasons, namely that shes a bit of an outspoken bitch at times) basically announces she'd like to be your partner if she swung that way. I wouldnt go there with a bargepole, that would be a terrible relationship to be in.
