Oh ffs. Trying to get NR2003 to run on Win 10 is being a nightmare. It's in compatibility mode, I disabled DEP, I've done everything, and it crashes on loading. Error: I don't know what a pure virtual function is/does, or why it's important to my success.
Have you disabled DEP globally? That's the only thing I've found that works. Afterwards, you require a restart. This is the command to do it: Code: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
Yup, it's globally disabled. That's the first thing I do before I even install the game is disable DEP.
There were similar hoops to jump through in 7, but 10 (and if I recall, 8.1 to an extent) are notorious for compatibility issues with older software.
So my reenactment group has a new girl courtesy of our Society. I have a new favourite thing. On her first shot she made me completely deaf for quite a while. My ears did not stop ringing till well after the battle, and neither did the car alarms. I believe she's a replica of a swivel gun, the type used on those big ol' tall ships of yesteryear. We mainly represent the HMS Brunswick and Royal Oak and would be remiss without a cannon to rain death upon those darn French! Her name's Ellie, she's proofed for 8 ounces of powder and is a fine addition to our society's artillery. so I think we can proudly sound off as part of our society's battery of four!
I installed it on Windows 7 and it runs perfectly without disabling DEP or anything. Maybe it's because I bought the disk, but I'm pretty sure it works with 7 just fine.
You should probably get yourself some ear plugs. Hearing is super easy to damage in a more permanent fashion.
wait I thought the cars in beamng don't pollute. wait is this an actual feature in the game or is it just a joke?
it would be a useful feature it will show how having a catalytic converter reduces performance, it would make cars like the moonhawk more realistic.
Cataylitic convertors don't hurt engine output if they're in good condition. The moonhawk's performance is accurate.
